alternatives?

So it looks like the Chocolate is getting mixed reviews... does anyone have an opinion on any of these music phones listed on Wirefly?

I got my ROKR through them, and would like to order there again. Is this list missing anything?

just saw this phone is a verizon store

im just as much a gadget freak as anyone else.
but this phone didnt wow me off my feet

i stood there for half an hour trying how to navigate through this phone. its mucho confusing
not to mention the verizon store i went to had this phone hooked up to a stereo system
and i couldnt even sample the speaker or ringtone quality because of this phone being connected to a stereo system. verizon stop being a bunch of retards. and the user interface that is not verizon which is what the sample phone was set on, was too much of a delay. not to mention the display seems a little dark its not totally bright and crisp and clear (at least not in the store) meanwhile these lil kids all around me were all like "dude i have to get this phone" i had ...

Is there a software to transfer Outlook contacts to this phone?

Someone mentioned BITPIM in another thread and I checked out their website but it does not specifically say you can import Outlook contacts.

I would really like to know before I buy this phone if I can transfer my Outlook contact names and numbers into this phone.

Thanks.

Need some advice here.

I currently have a 9800, thinking about switching to the 8500 but am kinda curious about the KRAZR K1m. As I said, I have a 9800, so I'm in no dire need of a new phone, I just simply want to downsize. Yes the Qwerty keyboard is nice, but unnecessary. I'd rather have a more compact phone. Would you suggest going for the chocolate or holding off for the Krazr.

In Store Prices?

Hey everyone, I am planning on returning a V3M RZR today to exchange for the 8500. Is the price still going to be $150 with the instant rebate or will it be $200 with new 2 year and a $50 mail in rebate? Any info would be appreciated.

Couple Of ???'s.....Please Help!

I really am loving this phone so far, but have a few questions and hope someone on here can help me.

1). When I go through the menus, dial numbers, really do anything with the phone, it announces the menu item/number I am pressing or highligting through the speaker of the phone, and if I'm on BT, through the BT headset. Is that normal? Not normal? Something I just have to get used to, or a feature I can turn off?

2). When I use my BT headset and initiate a call, after I press the button on the headset to end the call and it disconnects, a few seconds later it ask me the original command again, for instance; if I said "call Jen mobile" then had my conversation, hit the end button on the headset when I was done, a few seconds lat...

Found: Great Case For The Chocolate!!!!!!!!!

I know there is a pouch available via Verizon made especially for this phone, but I personally hate the cases with the plastic covering on the front. First of all, it always looks dirty or scratched, and with this phone you can't use it in the case anyway due to the touch keys and the slide feature. So, I went on a search for a case. I like the leather pouches. I searched all sorts of stores, then started doing a little research. I realized that the measurements on this phone are almost identical to those on the Samsung a990. Same exact height and width, just a hair smaller in depth. Anyway, Verizon offers a nice leather pouch made for the Samsung and I got it and it fits the Chocolate like a glove! Just thought I'd share this info i...

Thinking of switching from Sprint

I'm thinking of getting the Chocolate, the KRZR k1m or the 8300.

Few Questions:

Can I make Songs I have on my computer as ringtones on the above listed phones?

How do Chocolate and 8300 sound with/without Headphones?

what about the exterior keys

This is an interesting looking phone. I'll be up for new every two in about a month. I have a Nokia 6256i which isn't all that old, but when it's in my pocket it always touches the volume or record keys which are on the exterior of the phone. This is a problem.

I like everything else about my Nokia, except the bluetooth range is more like 30 inches than thirty meters. It works further away than 30 inches, but breaks up alot. That may really be the fault of my bluetooth earpiece, a Scala 500, but I'm not sure about that.

How are the exterior keys on the chocolate. How is the bluetooth.

When it comes out in offline stores on Aug 7th

Do you guys think that I can still buy the "bundles" for this phone? I'd LOVE to purchase the $250 bundle for this phone, but I wonder if I can do that in offline stores, not in online. What do you guys think?? Did this kind of bundle thing happened before?? 🙂

dumb question LOL

ive heard a lot of people complaining about the End key as a side key because its annoying when you want to hang up the phone.
