LG VX-8500 Chocolate

I dont know if this is an easy fix or not but i cant figure out how to get rid of the computer voice that says "verizon wireless" before my ringtone comes on. also i cant make the phone stop saying in a computer voice all of the settings, like if i go to voice commands and i hit on menu or anything it will say "menu" its annoying and i dont want my phone to have any sounds except for the ringtone. thanks

For some reason the ####@vzwpix.com won't work anymore. Anyone know of a work around to get ringtones back on the phone? I've hear bitpim does work and i've heard it does not.

Lately I've noticed and become a little aggravated by the fact that when I am on a call the touchkeys sense my presence and act as if I actually touch them. Is there a way to disable them while on a call and not just lower the sensitivity? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I broke down and ordered the extra life battery. I sure hope it works better then the reg. one. I have tried every suggestion on here for battery life and nothing works. I even had a new phone sent to me and the same thing.

i need help on choosing between the rizr or the chocolate. i like the rizr because of its features and the same with the chocolate.this is a really hard decision for me and i need to hear what others think and maybe that will help me with my decision.

bitpim wont work and i dont know any other way to get custom ring tones on my phone. please help and thanks in advance.

1) First off, is there a way to turn off the display when I'm talking on the phone. I've only used it once, but when i was talking on the phone the display never turned off, and I could just sense the battery draining because of that...

2) I try to connect my phone to my iMac to get songs off of it through Bluetooth, but I cant send songs to it. Is it possible to do this? I can send stuff from the phone to the computer though (such as phone number, since that's all I have on my phone right now). But I can't seem to transfer anything to my phone. The computer says something like "The device you're sending it to says it doesn't take this kind of file." It appears that I am paired up with the computer correctly because I can send stuff ...

Does anyone else have problems with there Mobile IM and going into AIM
when i go to Mobile IM and go to clikc the AIM guy it wont let me put a screen name in and just says signing in, but doesnt show the connecting screen

i was playing around with my ringtones and left one playing and idk what i did but suddenly i was back to the home screen and the ringtone was still playing and i was able to navigate the phone while listening to it...how do you do this? or is this just a weird glitch??

Well I've had this phone for a little over a month now, and it has a ton of noticeable scratches on it. I even bought the protective case for it the day after I got the phone, but somehow scratches keep popping up on this thing. Whenever the screen's on the scratches almost look like little rainbow trails on my screen. Has anyone ever used products like displex on their screen, or any other methods to remove these scratches. Thanks in advance.

Which do you think I should buy for my Chocolate? I was going to go with BestSkinsEver already make skin for my Chocolate, which is clear -- otherwise I'd have to have one custom made on The InvisibleShield for my dimensions.

when i take a picture and make it a background...there are white bars on top and bottom...how do i get rid of them and amke picture full size of screen

Hello, I've been fooling around with this thing for a while and I see how you can lock the phone by going to phone settings >> security >> lock.. etc., but thats only a 1 time deal. I'm wondering if it's possible to set it to lock everytime it's closed, basically so that if I want the phone to be locked so someone can't just come around and pick it up and use it, do I have to lock it manually every time?

Can you load up somgs from wma files onto this phone I just got mine?

I need to know because I want to see buy new glasses and why not have glasses that sync up with my phone. I want to know if the music player is compatible.
