Palm Treo 700p

contract is up in a day was going to get the pocketpc 6700 from sprint...really like the set up and all but now the new treo is out...wondering what is a better by...i really like windows 5.0 with the 6700 has and the treo does not..heard good things about both phones...let me know any insight would help

I know that I should be able to do this via bluetooth, but when I went to the verizon wireless website, it says that I cannot use bluetooth to make my cell phone a modem. Can I circumvent this problem with a data cable??? Thanks in advance.

Is there anyone here who is willing to trade there 700P for a 700W? I'll give you my 700W plus an additional 100.

Does the 700p have picture speed dial like the 700w?? I have looked around but have not found anything that shows it does. Any input would be great!

Any word on whether or not this phone will support voice-dial via bluetooth, in other words being able to make calls using only a BT headset? It should. Dammit.

So I know that the 700 is cdma but anyone know when it is going to be for gsm??

Im ordering the p tomorrow because i cant sync the w or q with my mac - but i want a bluetooth headset from verizon also (with my 710 settlement money) - i have the H500 and hate it - which one should i buy?

just my luck, my units option key sticks a there's a burnt out pixel on my screen so now I have to exchange it. Ugh.

Good morning everyone.

Has anyone here whose 700p has been delivered had a chance to test reception? I've heard that the 650 has fairly poor reception compared to a lot of other phones. My Motorola V710, despite its Bluetooth flaws, has excellent cell reception and gets a clear signal where most other phones drop calls. Unfortunately, my apartment is one of those places, so if the 700p was a weak radio, it might steer me towards a Motorola Q despite my distaste for Windows Mobile.

i work for a certain phone company that will be releasing this phone very soon. i am soooo excited about it and want to get it so bad that i am willing to shell out the $650 + tax to get get my grubby little hands on it. I have a brand new 700W seal box and all that I want to trade for the 700P. Can anyone tell if the VZW retail store will exchange it for me? I am past my 15 day trial period! I find Palm OS to be more reliable than WM5.

🤤 Just before 10 AM EDT, my phone was delivered to my job. I opened it up and it looks great. It will be a few hours before I get home to back up my Treo 650 and then load up the new phone from Verizon Wireless.
By the way, I ordered it early Monday Morning, May 22 on line. For some reason (and I'm not complaining, mind you), the bumped up the shipping to standard overnight and charged me $70 less for the phone. I was not eligible for the discount as my two years were not up yet so the price was supposed to be $619 (YIKES!). The invoice in the box said $549.

What's up everyone. I need to get a palm for school and I have never owned one. This said, what is better about this version over the older verison of it? I have read the reviews and they both say that they are ok not amazing. But besides that, I need them to be Wi-Fi enabled. I want to get one that will last me and not be all buggy. Any advise about whice one to get, either this new one or the 650. Thanks in advance.

Yelled at verizon they said they sent it out and i would be receiving it tomorrow...specially overnighted it for me...actually 2 phones...hopefully they didn't like they love to. 😉
