after the software update, can the vzw razr play both wma and mp3's?

A friend of mine has the V3M on VZw. When he goes to his inbox he gets a popup that says that his PIX MSG 83% Full. When he only has 2 messages in there ? Why is this happening? HElp please.

do u think theres ne chance a new upgrade will have the new verizon menus on it for the razr? 🤣

hello, i am able to send my V3m ringtones via email and they work and play just fine. i can save them as ringers and everything. the problem is this:
when i try to send a ringer via pix message, i go to sounds, tunes, etc... and it will only allow me to choose certain ringers i have made, not all of them... i don't understand this. i sent 5 ringers to my phone, saved them all, played them all in my tunes, and everything. then when i go through to send one as a text, it will only show 3 of the 5. but the ones that are missing are there if i go to save them as a ringer or just to listen to them. it only will not show them when i try to text them. what gives???

Ok, here's the deal, I have V3m. The phone is extremely slow, when i try to look at a text message or browse a contact the phone moves moves slow like its about the lock up like a computer(and it actually has a couple of times). On top of that, alot of times I do not recieve calls or messages. If I do recieve messages I'll get them delayed sometimes early in the morning like 2-3 a.m. when they were sent earlier in the day people will call me and ask why I didn't reply, sometimes i'll get the message multiple times in a day or right back to back. Or I just wont get calls at all we tested this by doing a test call and the call didn't come thru the phone just rang. Should I go take it up to verizon or if they do give me another V3m will it jus...

I have done all the steps from mark.cdmaforums.com to enable the phone to use multi media studio as well as modified the Mobile Phone Tools software to read the phone. I have the "multi-media studio button" and I can run the software to TRANSFER FILES... I can see the files on my computer but I can't see any of the files on my phone. I am trying to transfer the pictures I took... Am I missing something here?

I have a Sprint v3m. I need to know if it is possible to turn on a REMINDER alert for voicemail.

Currently, if I miss the original "new voicemail" ring, the phone never puts out a reminder alert. So every time I walk away from my phone for more than a few minutes, I have to pick it up and light the screen to check it. What a pain.

Sprint says doesn't have a reminder option for voicemail. That doesn't make sense .... help.

OK, i'm a bit frustrated. All I want to do is have my V3m work with BitPim. Can someone tell me exactly what I need to do to make this happen? I don't need anything more, just tell me what edits I need to do, and if you could, how to do them because I'm really not a phone genius. I'm good with computers, so if you tell me what to download and what to do I can definitely figure it out. I have a cable to connect my phone, but I do not have a TF card.

Bottom line is, I just want to be able to put music/ringtones, and maybe even swap pictures via BitPim to my V3m (Verizon) through my USB cable. Can someone help me accomplish this?

also, i've been reading that the V3m isn't compatible with mpt. is it possible to file transfer via bluetooth with this handset? i remember using a cable for file transfer with the V3c.

The FBI appears to have begun using a novel form of electronic surveillance in criminal investigations: remotely activating a mobile phone's microphone and using it to eavesdrop on nearby conversations.

Can I set my mp3 files for ring tones? Or is the feature not available for the Razr V3M? I just recently had the Nokia 6255i and it allowed me to set mp3 files for my ring tone even though it was only one ring tone not custom for everyone in my phone book it was still alot better then having to buy my ring tones. So I'm just wondering if the same feature is available on the Razr V3M? I'm trying to work my way around not actually having to purchase ring tones as much as possible. Any suggestions?

I know that Verizon has blocked using Motorola Phone Tools to transfer photos to my pc with this phone but can I put pictures on the Micro Sd and then take the card out and put it into an external card reader?

I recently switched to a Razr b/c of its excellent Bluetooth DUN and signal strength. I have the Charcoal Gray model sold at Radio Shack stores.

But, the 'charcoal gray' is two colors. The battery plate, and the 'cover' of the earpiece are a purplish (for want of a better description) gray, and both the lower rear and the lower front are more of a true gray.

The inside of the phone is all a uniform silver-gray. The overall effect, apart from the lack of uniformity, is quite pleasing.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is this common, or is mine defective?

Just did the basic SEEM edits on my phone to unlock the data transfer, volume 1-7 instead of high-low, etc.

Is there en edit for unlock and be able to edit the home keys?

Is there a list of available SEEM edits?
