W300i Now available from Cingular
Just to let everyone know that W300i is now available from Cingular. So far its only in black although there is a white version of it which is really cool. Have fun..

Question about compatability
I was interested in purchasing this phone, but I live in the Philadelphia market where 3G has yet to be rolled out. Would this work in my area? It seems to have the same specs as my current phone which is a (groan) V3.
Any info would be appreciated.

this phone doesn't have the ability to have ring tones for different callers?? anyone else find that odd?

This phone is definately the replacement for the w600i and is comming to Cingular in September.

i was just on the phone(i have the 8125) up until a couple of minutes ago i was not able to surf the internet and talk on the phone on the same time. i know it not a 3g phone or that is not ava. in my area until nxt month at the earliest. my zip is 95206. do anyone have any answers to this thanks.

upgrade to the z520,..umm no.
the inside looks just like the z500 ,... not the z520. now why put such a great feature like walkman in a phone,..with a 128 x 160 screen. no 1.3 mp camera ,.. what a waste. by the way,..

am i wrong in assuming the Z530 will still have some sort of music player?
if the W300 and the Z530 are of different cost (the w300 being more expensive) and the Z530 still has some type of media player, i'm taking the Z530, walkman branding is not THAT important to me.

Great job, Rich...
...really nice pictures and great coverage. I'm a big fan of the W and Z series handsets as their physical design is first rate. Not surprising to hear people were put out by SE's change of connector...I'd imagine any company sees this as a chance to both boost income and implement new tech.

So does this mean that the W810 phone is not coming to the US? I saw that it was suppose to come out 1st qtr this year. I have been postponing getting a new phone in anticipation of the w810. And I really dont like the ooks of the 7 whatever phone is.

have an unlocked phone ...a cingular unlocked phone and want to clear off all the cingular info so i can download, etc...which it is not allowing me to do.
