verizon put the 930 on the equipment guide page internally for employee's. release date is listed as june 1st but as always that's tentative. price is listed as 149.99 with 2yrct, 199.99 with 1yrct, and 269.99 full retail. no work on mail in rebates. it will have vz navigator thought i'm not sure it will be available at initial launch. the only other interesting things in the launch material are the mention of bluetooth dun and serial port being enabled. this is direct from verizon not samsung so i tent to believe it. keep in mind that pricing and release date are subject to change and i have even seen feature listed incorrectly in launch packages but this is as close to accurate as anyone can give you. hope this answers some questions for p...

It must be out in very limited areas.

Ok, this is my first knock on this phone, wont make me trade it in because everything else is so great, but this is a little stupid.

So I had not used the mp3 player yet (which is a wrong name for it) and accidently ran across an article stating that Microsoft and Verizon were going to be blocking MP3 playblack in Verizons new phone and that WMA would be the only supported format.

I decided to test thit out right away. Come to find out when you put a MP3 file on the phone or on the memory card, it wont show up or play in it. However, when you convert them to WMA it plays flawlessly.

This is going to piss off a lot of people that really like using their phones with mp3s. Now its going to take them one more step; converting to wma, ...

Can anyone using this phone tell me if the outside display scrolls after it has been on for awhile, or possibly if you are playing music on it? I am curious if it is going to scroll like the LG 6000 did after it had been on a few seconds.

Anyone have any ideas as to how I can get my own ringtones on this phone?! Tried emailing them to pixplace... I was able to down load the sound (as a mid. file) but the phone won't play or even recognize it once it's saved to the phone (card memory).

I have not been able to find any accessories yet for this phone. All I am really looking for is a specific belt clip.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any stores get in accessories for this phone, so far I have not seen any in the Twin Cities.

just wondering, i was browsing through get it now and saw vz navigator as one of the options on this phone. i was under the impression that the v325 was the only phone with vz navigator, i didn't purchase it cuz i wasn't sure, but if vz navigator works on this, huge plus for this phone. if anyone knows the answer to my question let me know thanks.

Just wanted to start a thread with info on creating custom ringtones for the a930.

Which methods you have tried and failed or worked.

I am new to the custom ringtones world and would like to learn and be advised 🙂

Phonescoop shows this phone to be available through Verizon Wireless yet I don't see it anywhere on the VZW website. Does anyone see it on the site???

Hey guys, i was wondering if you knew a good web browser(like Operamini) to use with this phone, I hate not being able to go to different sites that are security threats? So does anyone know a browser i can use to get around this. any help is appreciated.

I know how excited I was about this phone, but today changed alot..

So I am working in a customers home in the basement for the last few weeks. I have my 670 with me everyday and I use the phone alot down there.

Today I was workign for most of the day and I have to tell you that I could not maintain a call with the 930.. I dropped a bunch of calls and call quality was horrid..

I then went to get some lunch and in a spot I know is a bit shaky but the 670 and 950 had no problems the 930 fuzzed out and dropped calls.

The phones reception is marginal.. Very unfortunate.

Another problem - The phone has an issue with voice quality in the earpiece. I thought it was the phone and that it was bad but we had 3 of them together...

if you click on the reviews tab you will see one good review, and two bad ones. granted the phone has some kinks, but according to the reviews they have given it a worse rating than the razr. i don't think you can give any phone a worse rating than the razr. the reason i believe this is that first off this is a phone, people are seeming to overlook that. the razr as a phone failed horribly. but this as a phone is fairly amazing. look at the moto v325 this phone has great reception like that phone, is actually smaller than the v325 and has a better camera if you care about that. so based upon that the ratings of the phone should be better than the v325 not worse than the razr which only has slimness going in its favor. i have not rele...

How much is this phone full retail? I just went to the Best Buy on 86th Street and Lexington Ave in NYC and they didn;t have any.

I have noticed that more of you have the phone than there are opinions out there. I have heard good and bad...its about even so far with all the research of user opions all over the internet.

I had to call 3 Best Buys before I found the one that had them. I am very tempted to get one. I love the look of it, its very cool and professional looking. Also, the slim design and quick speakerphone button would be a very great addition for me.

However, I do not want to buy this and then regret it. Just trying to get more opions; good or bad, on anything from design to sound quality.

Just wondering what case or clip you were using with that phone theatermax. The dimensions are just about the same as the a950 so close it appears it might fit in the clip i currently have for the a950.

I have not seen too many cases or clips for it out there so I am wondering what anyone who has it has used.

Man i really want to see some reviews b/f i go out and get this phone.

Are the menus of the A930 the stock Verizon menus that or on the vx8100 for example?...Is it possible to change to menu to a different style? Thanks
