Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r

I work for Cingular and the Razor has MAJOR Problems. I figured that I should give you guys the manufacturer's warranty number if you plan on purchasing this phone because you WILL need it.

Here it is. 1-800-331-0500.....Put it on speed dial, my friends. Be prepared to get at least 5 replacements on this phone within the first year.

Do all razr's have a slot. My parents have a Cingular version and Im not sure the specific model but I cannot find the transflash microsd slot. If there is one can some one describe where it is or better yet if you know of a user manual pic?

I have had a RAZR V3i with Itunes for about 2 weeks now. I notice that sometimes when I receive a call and push the button to answer it, the phone will go white and drop the call. It will stay white for a few seconds or until I close the phone and reopen it.
I've made a few dozen calls but this has only happened about 5 times so far. It still freaks me out because I think it shouldn't happen on a new phone.

Also, sometimes when I open the phone, I see the wallpaper but it takes a few seconds to see the icons and headings. The Cingular and battery signs don't come up right away I mean.

What should I do? Is this a software problem or is it the phone itself? I was thinking that if I reflash and reflex the phone, the above problems m...

Does anyone know how to make my Itunes songs into ringtones?

What phone is better the unlocked version or the Cingular version? I have the unlocked version right now. I like the unlocked vesion becuase you can use with different carriers even Nextel, but the only bad thing about the SIM of Nextel is that the phone does not get service from the card, it only recongnizes it.
This phone is cool when its unlocked. I think it has more features when its unlocked. By the way the unlocked version (my phone) came with 15200KB which is about 15 MB, right. Just some thing if you need to know.

Is there going to be more colors availabe besides the original color? Anyone have any idea? The RAZR V3's have like 5 colors!

the extra regular ringtones that I had on my unlocked version? I had several extra regular-sounding ringtones like 'Classic', 'Standard', 'Wind Chimes', and several others not found on the old regular V3 RAZR. Does the Cingular locked version have these extra ringtones available?

I have 2 V3i's that we bought unlocked unbranded
the iTunes on it is only limited to 50 songs

Is the Genuine Cingular release version have a higher limit than 50?

What is the proper way to clean a cell phone?

This Motorola microsuede pad thing is only supposed to do the screen(s).

i remember when i first read about the v3i last year, i was in heaven. and then i thought someone was playing a sick joke on society when i read about the limited edition gold v3i. well i wasnt able to get the black and gold limited edition but i did just purchased the now massed-produced silver & gold D&G Razr V3i
i love love love the brushed metal/silver v3i and even the maroon one and blue ones look neat, actually i don't like maroon but i could rock it on the v3i. i dun' like gold much either but i live for D&G

on phonescoop, the battery life is 6.67 hours. on cingular.com, the battery life is 3 hours. which is it?

🤣 i just got the v3i and so far its pretty coool. except i dont know what the deal with my voicemail is. all it does when someone calls it is beep like 8 times... anyone else have this problem? and i've also got the pretty standard new voicemail icon ever present... and i dont know how to do any of the stuff to get rid of that..... help? 😛

Great News... I went to my cingular store today and asked about the V3i and they said that they would have it on September 6. I live in the Twin Cities and I don't know if that is the nation wide release date but it is for the Twin Cities.

Well, I am slightly dissapointed.

I had hoped this v3i really have the metal look and feel. It's more "metal" than the v3 but not obviously so. The gumetal I saw have dirt smudges which tells me it's too polished and not have the fingerprint-proof of a "textured" metal. It's also as light as the original v3 which doesn't give the hefty "quality" feel of the heavier slvr. The only thing I like is the surrounding around the keypad which is made of a rubber material rather than plastic which gives it the "rubberized" feel.

I keep hearing that the V3i has a dedicated iTunes button on it. From the pictures i've seen it looks like the same keypad as the V3. Is the iTunes button for the Cingular branded V3i only? pictures?

If you direct from motorola it comes with 64mb

on the cingular website it doesnt list as having one come with at all?

So CompUSA has an ad that says they're having a labor day promotion where the phone is free this weekend. I'm interested to see what happens when I go to the store.

Just wanted to let everyone know that if you go to cingular.com and go to the accessories page. Pick motorola as the manufacture and then you pick the model, they list the v3i. I know that some of the accessories are interchangeable with the v3, but they are both listed separately which they were not a few weeks back. I just thought I would let people know, and it might just be some useless information. 🙂

The V3i is finally available to order in my market. I placed an order for some V3i's today, so i should be getting them shortly. 🙂
