Palm Treo 700w / 700wx

Is there anyway to change the alarm clock Ringer to some rings that I have created. I have not been able to find ringtones that I have added for my ringtones but I cannot use them as my alarm rings. Please Advise

Does anyone know how to listen to the music that is on your treo 700w through the bluetooth device? If you do, please let me know. Thanks.

Is it true that if I use my treo 700W as a wireless modem for my laptop and I use Aol Instant Messenger, that I will get charged text messages?

I wanna get another battery from my 700w; but before I spend the $50 or so to do so, will it really make a significant diffrence?

Yes i am a noob and this is my first pda. I've been able to download anything in .wma but stuff in .flv I cant. Is there some easy to understand third party softwear that would allow me to watch stuff in .flv?

Does the Treo have the ability to print directly to a wireless enabled printer? Can it do speech to text or text to speech dictation? Can it use a portable wireless keyboard?

have any of encountered problems when connecting bluetooth? i have a hard time with keeping a connection through the day. and if i try to connect during a call the phone freezes and can only be remedied by a soft reset...any solutions available?

When an unknown caller calls you is there an easy way to save that unknown # to an existing contact? For the life of me I can't figure this out, your help would be greatly appreciated, thanks 🙂

Does anyone have any knowledge as to when, if ever, the 700wx might be avialable from Verizon.
I am due for my new every two and now that I am on the road five days a week need to receive email as well as have the ability to sync with pc / Outlook and have been reading the short comings of the 700w due to limited system memory.
The 700wx appears to be my best option and I am hoping that it will be made availabe.

Does anyone know how to clear EVERYTHING off the today screen? I can get everything off except for the Verizon Wireless Name and "Type a Name or Number" in the today screen settings, but would like to clear it all. Anyone know how? 😕

Does Treo 700W transmit caller id information over bluetooth. I have BMW iDrive and it doesn't get the caller ID information. Just numbers. Any way to change this??

I just finished my term of owning a Treo 600. Always described the phone as being able to do everything, but nothing well. The worst was the reception. I would just wait for the message indicator and return calls. My replacement criteria started with reception. I was determined to get my hands on a 700 after hearing good things about the reception. I used my 600 as a phone and an organizer, I did not use it for surfing or other wireless data. I decided on a 700, but could not get just a phone plan with the 700 purchase subsidy. I am on my third phone right now and need another, here are my problems.

1. When I try to turn on the screen by hitting the red phone button nothing happens. After 2 phones and multiple calls to Verizon with nothing helpful other (other then their lame hard and soft resets) I was able to find a fix on one of the forums.

2. I am on a call, another call comes in, I would like to hang up on the first call, it hangs up on both. I am on a call another call comes in, I swap, talk then swap back with new caller hanging up, both calls are still active and I am getting charged double! On a call, new call comes in, swap to to, want to hang up on new call and it hangs up on both! No work around, and I have found out that this is a problem ...

.........., you CAN do mp3 ringtones. Go to file explorer, copy the song/songs that you want to have a ringtones, then go to my device, windows, rings, and paste the songs into that folder. Then you can select them from the sounds & applications folder under settings.

On the treo 700wx. What is the best way to convserve your battery life and also get your emails in a timely fashion. Also how do you stop the internet from connecting on its on, my interenet connects from time to time and it is running down the battery life.

How much do buy it full price at verizon can someone let me know
