Video Playback - Owners of the 6700 please reply!

I'd like to know if the video playback can be viewed in "landscape mode". Specifically when watching a compressed movie (i.e. Empire Strikes Back, Scarface, Napoleon Dynamite etc) stored on the miniSD card, assuming this device is capable of that feature. Also, if any of you have downloaded & used any of the GPS/Navigation software like TeleNav and the like...please inform.
Thank you! 😎

Ok, I'll be the guinea pig! :)

Someone buy my MM5600 and I'll buy one of these and give it a good working through 🙂

The size looks a little large but it finally has all the features in a phone I would want and need.
I hope the reception is good and the OS is fast.

DUN Profile support? how fast?

Hello,

I am very interested in whether the bluetooth DUN (dial up networking) profile works, and how fast it is.

Could someone who has the phone please try this with a bluetooth laptop and let me know the upload and download speeds? e.g. at http://www.dslreports.com/stest

I would be using a 12" Apple Powerbook which doesn't have a PCMCIA card slot, otherwise I would use that. Not sure if I'll be limited by bluetooth speeds.

Thanks!!

How to get involved in the test markets for these phone???

Does anyone know how to become a person who gets to test these phones out before they get out to the public? You know, a company that maybe looks for people to send phones to, and lets them try it out and give feedback? Please let me know. 😁

Will it work on Verizon?

I think that technically, this phone should work just fine on Verizon. However, will Verizon activate this phone on their network?

No Voice Dial?

I'm not sure if the info for the 6700 for voice dial means if it doesn't have it, or we don't know for sure.

If it does have voice dial, will is be pre-programmed tags or something like VoiceSignal, where it's speaker-independent?

Does anyone know, because for me, VoiceSignal is a deal-breaker for me.

Phonescoop news...

Isn't it funny how phonescoop always seems to list these phones as news, but often (like here) doesn't actually have a page for them?

DUN Profile?

If I can get my 12" Powerbook online with this puppy using bluetooth then I won't miss the fact that it doesn't have a PCMCIA slot anymore.

Any news on whether Sprint will disable this capability???

$20 Paypal to anyone who knows for sure (and can prove it in print) before monday the 19th of Sep '05.
