Need some advice!!!!!

OK, so I'm currently using the Sanyo MM-9000, but I just got my hands on this little philly and I really like it.

Speakerphone is not as loud as the Sanyo, but you can actually hold a conversation on it!!

BT is also a plus.

I'm a little scared because I've been such a die-hard Sanyo man, but this is making me wanna go to Samsung. What do you guys think, should I make the switch??

Where can I find a good deal for existing customer?

I just renewed our service contract for two years last month. Now I am looking to upgrade my husband's phone to the A920. All the deals I see are for opening new Sprint accounts. Any suggestions for the best deal for an existing customer?

Accidentally start music?

I don't have this phonen yet, but I'm thinking about getting it. Anyway, now I have Verizon's VX6100 and when it's in my pocket it's easy to hit the camera button on the side so it takes blank pictures. Does this kind of problem happen on this phone, with either the camera or the music controls?

MP3 ringtones

I know this topic has been beat to death but none of the suggestions have really helped. First of all, I'm in Canada so I'm not using Sprint's service. It's with Bell Mobility. I managed to transfer mp3s from my computer to the phone via card reader but I could not believe that the phone would not let me assign them as ringtones. This would appear to be an obvious feature that the phone should have. The main reason why I got the phone was for MP3 ring tones. I've tried to upload the songs to the "fun for mobile" website but when I get the text message sent to my phone, it doesn't allow me to click on any link. It just asks me to go to a site which I can't click on. Also, the guy at the store told me that I could assign video clips for caller...

mp3 and your car

Is there a way to listen to my music off my phone in my car? I know there are car kits for hands free talking but what about using the mp3 player in your car with the bluetooth capability?

Should I trade in...

Should I trade in my e815 for this phone?
Things I am looking for is a phone that plays mp3s loud and clear and takes good pics. (I know this phone has a lag, which doesn't bug me much) I know people will be like Oh if you want why don't you just get a digital camera and an ipod. But I want just one device that can do those things decently not 3 devices that can do those things great.

What in the heck!!??!

Okay so I bought my Samsung A920 a couple weeks ago, I bought the Card reader so I can put songs on it for the MP3 player. I initially put the songs in the "MUSIC" file but then tried putting it in the "MEDIA PLAYER" file. The reason I put them in the MEDIA PLAYER file is because when I connected Head phones to the cell phone it wouldn't play the music.. But yet it plays the music just fine with the speakers (so w/o headphones). So when I put the songs in the MEDIA PLAYER it does the same thing... I can't listen to the music when headphones are connected!? Has anyone else had this problem?? If so how can i fix this? Headphones work fine when talking on the phone.. Thx in advance! 😎

Advanced Audio Distribution Profile

Does anyone know if the 920 or any of the current or upcoming sprint phones have version 1.2 AADP? I am looking into the Jabra BT620s Bluetooth stereo headset but it requires that ver of AADP. I found somewhere on a motorola forum that their stereo BT headset requires the same. One person complained about not being able to find a phone that supports this. He finally found one...in Asia.

IF anybody know anytyhing about upcoming phones, and can spill a little, that would be nice. I rather not spend 324$ on the 920 and have it not work with my BT hs, or have another/better phone come out. Thanks in advance.

using the a920 as a modem

hi i just started service with sprint again after a horrible time with tmobile. I love the samsung a920. I have 2 co workers with the same phone. one said I could buy the $15 powervision plan and use my phone as a modem. He claims with the software or manuely dialing up he doesnt have to get a different plan. The other coworker says that if I use the phoen that way I will either not be able to connect or will haveto pay a very high PPU cost. which perosn is corrent. Anyone elese out there tried this?

Best Phone?

Is this phone the best Sprint has to offer right now? I'm looking to upgrade, but I'm looking for something with great multimedia capability, bluetooth, ptt, alarm, external memory card slot, usb, pictbridge and music player just to name a few preferred features. So far this phone seems to be the closest thing to what I'm looking for. Is anything out there better?

Crippled Bluetooth

I'm about to switch to Sprint and purchase this phone, but before I do I wanted to know more about the *crippled Bluetooth*. I heard Sprints phone's don't have SIM cards, say I damaged my phone but kept the SIM card so I wouldn't have to re-enter all my contacts phone numbers. I've always wanted a phone with Bluetooth, and I was wondering if they have changed it so that you can update contacts through your computer via Bluetooth, if not is there another way?? USB, the Fash card, etc... Also if there has been NO changes to the *crippled Bluetooth* does anyone know whether they will fix this problem or will they just abandon this phone and go on to a new one?
