Synch'ing the 8125 with Lotus Notes Client

Is anyone synchronizing their Lotus Notes client with the Cingular 8125? If so - can you tell me what aplication you are using to sync? As well, are you syncronizing email, tasks, calendar and contacts?

How is it working?

Plus - are you able to synchronize your notes email when you are not connected to a LAN. For example - can you get your emails from the Notes server via GPRS network and then have you pc based client get the email when you do connect with the pc?

Thanks

I have been using ActiveSync with Outlook and it works fine but am about to take a job with a company who uses Notes and I still want to sync with the client. Plus - I currently use POP to get my emails when not connected via Outlook and LAN and am curious to...

PC not reconizing my 8125

I have had my 8125 for about 1 year now. I have never had any syncing issues until know. Activesync is not recognizing my phone all of the sudden. I uninstalled Activesync and reinstalled 4.5- no luck. I checked all settings on my phone (sync w/all PC to this connection & USB is checked). I connected to my work laptop and the same issues. Last time I synched was about a month ago. When I check the device manager on my PC the phone does show up under USB device and I note that the power icon is listed on the phone. I called HTC their solution was to remove and re-install activesync from pc , remove all sync relationships from phone and retry- didn't work. Any ideas out there? Anyone else have this happen? Thanks

How do I change Domain for Exchange Server Setup

I had my 8125 setup for email with exchange server at my old job... now I'm trying to setup the same way at my new job and I can't locate where/how to change the "domain" under "edit server settings" so that everything can work. The field is there, but it doesn't allow any changes to be made... it list the domain for my old job.

Any suggestions?

Read UBS flash drive on MDA

Does anyone know if I can read the contents of my flash drive on the MDA if I connect it using the mini UBS adapter ? This adapter converts the regular size male USB port into a mini male USB port and the MDA has a female mini USB slot. Can I read my USB flash drive using this port ?

Hard case and Stylus for MDA

Hello all,
Most people who have used a MDA would agree that the stylus isn't the best. Does anyone knows a different stylus that I can use with the MDA which will still fit in the slot on the phone ? I am also looking for a hard case for my MDA. Best would be a hard case with stylus slot so that I can buy better stylus and put it in the slot on the hard case. anything like this exists ?

Help comparing Bluetooth stereo headsets!!

I am trying to decide between two bluetooth stereo headsets to purchase for my MDA since my original headset and my bluetooth earphone are dead and I wanted both in one so I can listen to my music and make or receive calls. It's between the LG HBS-110 and Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970. I can get them both for $99 so price doesn't help and both have pretty much the same features. Has anyone used, uses, or know more about either or a better product or price out there?

A couple of very quick questions (please help)

I know it seems like a lot but its really just 3 quick questions 😁

I'm very interested in this phone because I want a PDA. I currently own a RAZR V3 and want a change, and from research I have done, the 8125 seems like the best PDA right now. I've tried to research more in depth, but I figured I'd ask this here as well. Is there a better PDA available for Cingular? Or is there one expected to be released in the near future that I should know about? Lastly, obviously there are great deals online for $100 from websites such as letstalk.com and younevercall.com but I wanted to make sure these sites are reliable enough to use...and if I would be able to use my current phone number.

Thanks in advance

Password Help!

😕
My coworker's daughter got ahold of her 8125 and entered her phone password (not SIM password) incorrectly several times over and over until it was blocked out.

We did a master/hard reset and now the device still asks for a password. Is there a default pass?

Help!?

HTC 8125 vs. Verizon XV6700

I am looking for any opinions on which phone is better. I am in Los Angeles, need the PDA, good phone reception, email access, text and prefer fast internet access. I also have a current unlimited plan with AT&T and would somehow like to keep it. Although I am more interested in a new PDA phone with the most reliable service and features. Please give me any and all opinions. Thank you,

should i trade?

i was recently asked by a rep at another cell phone place here at the mall i work at if i would be interested in an even trade. his MDA for my SK3. i use the sk mainly for email text and the web.i'd like to be able to view spreadsheets for work. having full internet is probably the biggest thing with a phone for me, that and a full keyboard. i know you can buy the t-mo hotspots thing for the wifi on the MDA, but its not essential to have for the internet to work. without the package, is the internet on the mda as good at the sidekick?
any suggestions? which is the better phone.
