Best place to purchase USB Cable DCU-60?

Hi,
Just wondering where a good place and what a good price is for this USB cable. I want to be able to download MP3 ringtones to my phone. The "genuine SE cables" on ebay are from UK or Hong Kong -- would a generic version work as well?
Thank you.

lil' tip to darken external screen

Service Menu on SE...change contrast...

1. press right arrow
2. press * key
3. press left arrow 2 times
4. press * key
5. press left again
6. press * key

you're there...Service settings- external contrast, close flip, use volume keys to adjust.

** the external "sleep clock" needs to be ON in order for this function to work though **

This helped me a lot as the battery and reception signal were very difficult to see b/c they were so light. It's still hard to see them though b/c they're so small, but it helps a little at least.

CALENDER APPOINMENT ISSUES

Hi there, I just got this phone not too long ago and I love it, except i've been putting in different appointments in my calender and it seems that after a few days or whatever it automatically changes the time that i originally set it for. If i set one for 1-2 PM it'll change to 10:45 PM to 11:45 PM or something like that, any idea why this is happening? I tried to disable the auto-update for the time, but I dont think it did anything.

Nights

On the nights and weekends plan, what time does nights start? 6 or 7 pm? I was looking through some info on it, but couldn't find anything.

For anyone interested that doesn't know about it, myphoneexplorer is a great free program to manage your files or appointments. I hated the that Sony program or bluetooth file transfers. Typing on that keypad was a pain also. :p

Finally. Been waiting around for this. Sure, you can customize one from the StyleUp site, but these only cost 5 bucks in several solid colors. Have ordered from this outfit before for previous phone, no problems that I recall.

Possible Recall

It appears that the many people experiencing problems with this phone are finally being heard. I don't know the exact details, nor do I know the validity of the information, but it appears either Sony Ericsson or Cingular is possibly recalling the z520a (not to be confused with the z520i).

It's 1 AM, just got off from work, I'll try to find out official word tomorrow, if there is any.

Need to simplify this phone for business use

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
I use this phone for business and I need to make it easier to use.
I want to get rid of the icons in the menu and have a list view and I want to reorder the list so the things I use most frequently are on top.
I want to have a light colored plain background so I can see things clearly.
I would just as soon get rid of the whole themes thing, or get a very plain one with easy to read fonts.

Am I stuck with getting another phone or can I make this one do what I need?

Thanks for your help

Transferring Saved Text Messages?

I'm getting my Z520a this week, and have a few text messages on my V551 that I'd like to keep. Is there any way that I can transfer these messages to my Z520a, using Bluetooth or similar means? Or do I just have to live without them and start all over again?

Theme Problem

Weird thing happened about 2 nights ago. I opened my phone and my wallpaper was gone. It was just blue. Then I went to the menu, and all the borders and colors were gone. I rebooted it, but I still had a problem. I turned it off and charged it, and when I turned it back on the next morning, it was back to normal. Then this morning, it happened again. Does anyone else have this problem?

SE z520a vs Moto RazrV3 vs Samsung D357

I just came back to Cingular (left Verizon) and have been using the SE z520a for about a week. I am 50/50 if I will keep it. I wanted to get some feedback regarding what you think the best phone is out of these 3 Cingular branded phones: SE z520a, Moto Razr V3 (black), Samsung D357. I am still in my 30 days exchange window.

My phones in the past have been Nokia, SE, then Samsung. I really want a small Nokia slider but my 30 day window ends this month. I mainly am concerned with battery, reception/clarity, ease of use, durability, voice dialing (for driving), easily fits in pocket, and looking forward to trying bluetooth. Lastly, I am in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Thanks for your time and help.

Weird thing happened yesterday

I was talking to my friend yesterday and all of the sudden I could not hear him. I tried calling him again and it would not go trough. I thought it was his phone. So I called another friend when I got home and the phone will not make any sound. The keys where mute even when the phone said it was calling I could not hear the ring. My friend said he picked up and could not hear anything even thought the call was connected. I tried calling my phone and only the lights would flash. I had to reboot to get it working again. Do phones have to be rebooted every day?
