how do you delete photos that you have saved from txt in box 😡

Are there any differences between these phones. I know they are listed together, but did they fix the problems the X495 had?

Having an issue with trying to use a headset with this phone. When you plug in the headset it displays enhancement not allowed. What's the deal? 😕

When I use the little volume rocker ont he side of the phone it only turns the key volume up and down. How the hell is that useful to me? I want to to turn the RING volume up and down with the option to vibrate, instead of going through all the menus. What idiot came up with the idea to use the rocker for key volume?

🙄 I'll thank everyone in advance on these. My wife and I just join Cingular and she chose the x497.
1st quest: She loves the volume button on the side except that it rolls from high volume to silent. Does anyone know a way to stop that?
2nd quest: I'm trying to send her an mp3 ringtone using Multimedia Messaging but it keeps saying file is too large. Am I missing something. I have it down to 132 kb.

Following an article from Wired.com, I've made the proper size mp3 for a usuable ringtone. Now how do I get the file to the phone without buying cabling? Can I set up my aim for forwarding to cell and send it to myself? Or is there an easier way to send or retrieve the file?

can I expect any difference in performance between x495 with internal antenna and x497 with stub (or s307 with stub).

I will be using the cingular network, and am in the process of buying a phone via ebay

I work for Cingular. I found a picture on our internal website of the x497. Looks kinda similar to the one on here, however there is a little stubby antenna. Also it is all silver, no black on it at all.

Just want to share it with you. Alright I just got the 497 today from Cingular. All of a sudden, I'm entering my contacts and it says ERROR. Well ok, so I look at it's making TWO of every name I enter? WTH?!?!?

My parents have a Samsung SGH-x497 and we just bought it too. Well my dad had it in his pocket and all of a sudden it went dead. We've charged it and kept trying to turn it on and it wont show any signs of life!! What can I do! someone please help, thanks

Why does T-Mobile / Samsung REFUSE to make a bluetooth phone. I have gotten so used to my bluetooth that I don't want to live without it. I like Samsung products, but I T-mobile never has one that will work for me because they will not get one with bluetooth... Oh well... guess I get to stick with Motorola

I have SGH-X497 and once that thing goes off...totally impossible to read what time it is and stuff..I always have to open the phone.
