Sony Ericsson W600i / W550i

Ok We have new w600i's.. read the all the battery posts a little worried... but still want to set it up.

We just switched from years! old sprint phones.. so no sim's to just switch ☹️ is there a easy way to type and sync all our phone numbers from our window's/pc to our phone or are we stuck having to type them 1 by from the little key pad ☹️

howpe to hear good news.. also new to the mp3 stuff.. saw maybe there was a email someone might sent to show us where to get some?

Hey everyone. I would just like to know hot to convert mp3s to a lower sound quality. Most of my mp3s are in 128kbps and id like to lower them to 96kbps for the sake of fitting more on the phone. I'm not sure whether this can be done in itunes (what i have) or not. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've been searching for a way to count the number of messages I've received in the form of text's and as far as I can see thats not possible unless I re-mark all my messages as unread, then next to inbox it will say (# new messages).

I tried to do that up there by using the mark -> mark several but I couldn't mark them all and do that. I found the counter that coutns the number I've sent, but thats it, anyone know if there's an incoming counter?

My wife and I are due for upgrades through Cingular and this phone is looking like my first choice for several reasons. My only concern at this point is how to carry it. From what I've seen the standard belt clip won't work due to the nature of the swivel phone and camera placement and it sounds kinda bulky to keep in a pocket. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks so much!

the title says it. how many songs can this phone hold? 200? 400? 1000? i have a lot of songs on my computer that need a second home and i was wondering if they could all fit into the w600i. i havent gotten the phone yet, but i placed a bid on ebay for one and if i dont get it there, then i will get it from the store.

Have anyone notice the back speaker of the w600i (the one right next to the camera len) is magnetic? I left my phone on top of a chain of paper clip, and when I picked it up they were connected to the speaker! LoL~

does anyone know where to get the update for the w600i from and what new features or fixes will be fixed if i get the update

can u set montly occurances for the calendar... or even yearly... that is, to remind u about a bday each year on a certain date

I switched from Verizon to Cingular because everyone I knew @ Verizon left - I bought a SE W600 because it got such good press on PhoneScoop. Now I am dropping calls, people can't hear me & I can't always hear them. I got a new 600 a week ago and there is no change. My 30 day trial is up in a REAL soon. What should I do? Get another phone with Cingular? Go back to Verizon? I like the 600 because it looks different, has a radio. Should I get a Razor like everyone else? I am confused since I am not able to make calls places where my hubby can with his blackberry (cingular) or I could with my 3 year old LG from Verizon. My kid will miss the SE600.

I have T-mobile but I am really thinking about getting this phone so I was wondering if a unlocked one would work as easily with T-mo as it does Cingular like people say it does. Well anyways thanks for your help. 🙂 😁 😉

how is using this charged to m account, i have the 20 dollar media works package, so is it just taken off of the monthly kilobyte usage?

Ok i need to urgently know which phones i should get...i like all of them and i would like to know your opinions on which is better. I would like to know which has the best camera, and overall which phone you think is the best out of the three.

I'm trying to figure out which music phone I should choose for my upgrade...

The obvious differences are a iTunes/Sonicstage music manger...form style...and about $50.

does any one battery life is as bad as mine.. like ill charge it the night before and not use the day after and the battery life is way low....
do u think if i use the time screen saver thing it makes the battery weak?

😕 Speed Dial only seems to want to work for voicemail when I press & hold 1. Oddly enough the phone, when setting speed dial, does give the option to set something for speed dial #1, however I set nothing because it's programmed to be for voicemail reguardless. Pressing & holding any other number takes me to a random name in the contacts list of my phonebook. I have found if I type the # and then press call, it works, but this is not how speed dial is intended to work & besides it works for voicemail..... Anyone else experiencing this or know a fix?

i downloaded a wall paper on my phone and when i looked at it, it was in black in white, on the web site it was in full color, i have download pics from the site before and they always worked fine,..so why was it black and white?
