WOW phone looks great. Wonder if mp3 Ringtones will be an option.

Does anyone know when this phone is going to be in the stores? I know it is available online, but when can you buy it in the stores and through customer service?

Can you turn the light on while filming the video? Can u turn the light on wile taking a picture, then does it brighten when u take the picture?

I work for Verizon Wireless and we just got the 950 in stock at Circuit City today. The phone is being released in Circuit Citys on Sunday, stores on Tuesday, and is available online now (as many of you already know). The one I used today was not active, so I could not actually make any calls on it. So anyone who wants to give me a hard time about my info, don't say I didn't preface what I'm about to say sufficiently.

From what I can tell, the camera does have a slight delay, much like the LG8100. I used the speakerphone to try to activate the phone (even though I knew it had no number assigned) in order to test the clarity of the speakerphone. It seems to be clearer and just as loud, if not louder, than the 8100. In addition, the speake...

man i love lg but the phone is having to many issues.

i hate the red face plate but i'm loving the 10 min video capture.

Anyone know what BT version this has? LG is 1.1. Newer headsets are 1.2.

Does anyone who has the phone know if you can read your text messages on the front screen just like you can with the LG VX8100??

anyone have an idea on either issue?

I'm interested in knowing three main things about this phone:

1) Any fluctuating earpiece volume issues?
2) Any problems with camera delays?
3) Is the volume on the speaker loud and,
most importantly, clear? I know with some
other Samsungs, the clarity of ringtones
is really bad.

I currently have an 8100 (by LG) and really like the phone's features, however, I have been having LOTS of problems with the earpiece volume. That's enough for me to switch to the Samsung a950 if it doesn't have that problem and still has all the features the 8100 has.

Finally, this phone is on this site. I am so psyched for this phone. I really think this phone is better than the a970. Plus, it isn't just silver like every other VZW phone.

watch this phone if you want it for movies or music, I had the A970 and the trans flash card was almost unusable, it was so slow. It took about 15-20 minutes to bring up 5 30 minute TV shows on the phone that were stored of the card.

Since this isn't the first phone I've noticed without BT dial-up support, I have to ask the question. Is it just this phone, or does Verizon stray away from BT Dialup?
