They took it off the site and you have to see this Telechat Thread with them today !

They removed it from their web site and I called to try and buy one today and they would not sell it to me..

This is where you want to Vomit..

I called the B2B guys and they can't sell it to me because we are a retail account..

This is where VZW needs to get their act together.

Then I went with their online chat group sales and see below how this went.. It's amazingly funny and I hope someone from VZW will read this.. This girl finally just ended the session without an answer

Please wait for a Verizon Wireless online agent to respond.

A Verizon Wireless online pre-sales specialist has joined the chat. You are now chatting with 'Tricia'
Tricia: Hello. Thank you for visiting our chat service. How may I help you today?

V325 Accessories - Where to buy?

Yeah, VZW's website has a few stock accessories at jaw dropping prices. What I need is a data cable and drivers/software to access the phone from my PC.

Moto's website doesn't even have the V325 listed! Maybe they're waiting for VZW's "online only" exclusivity to expire.

With the mini-USB connection, will the data cable for the V3c work? And what version of MPT will be able to recognize this phone?

Verizon is so FULL OF BS

I purchased this phone online and waited three days only for Verizon to tell me that this is a B2B phone only and I was unable to purchase it. Tell me why that phone would be for business customers?! It has everything a regular consumer would want!

VZW and not being sold in stores

Just spoke with them, they have no idea when or if it will ever be in the stores.

They said they want to sell through their V276's which they have thousands of..

Yikes

Question on data transfer...

I know it's early but I was wondering if someone could inform me on if you will be able to transfer data (such as pics, mp3s, etc.) from a comp to this phone under Verizon. I know they want you to use their "get it now" service so I'm not sure if it will be able to do it.

Moto V325

It's been quiet about this phone.
Has anyone held and maybe made a
call with the V325. From the pictures
and what I've heard it looks like a good
basic phone.
Any Comments.

v325's up on Verizon's Test Website.. Prices..

http://testman.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/control ... »

On the test site, says the price'll be:

$79 w/a 2-yr contract (including a $50 online discount, otherwise, $129)
$179 w/a 1-yr contract

There's also somethin' bout a limited time $20 discount if you buy w/a 2yr contract 'today only':

Since its a test site, 'today only' may not mean TODAY.

Questions....

Does anyone know if this phone will have the capability to answer calls in speaker mode w/ the clam closed.

And second, it appears this phone is going to have the dreaded "disco lights" for incoming calls, can that childish feature be turned off so you dont feel like your 12 years old using this phone?

Thanks

Price?

Just wondering what it will roughly be starting out. Trying to decide between a V276 and this and it looks like my wallet will be deciding. If anybody knows or has a rough guesstimate, I'd appreciate it. Thanks 🙂

Easy question..

What is the difference between the 323 and 325? Is it just different model numbers between VW and USCell or is there an actual difference?

Will GPS be available?

Hello,

New to the board. I have a question about the V325 - We've heard that it will have GPS capability, but I really can't find anything spefic as to what type of GPS.

My wife is looking for a GPS phone that has a mapping/directions capability (like some of the Nextels).

Will this phone have this feature?

How do people feel this phone will stack up against the E815?

Thanks!

The Verizon Phone has a different look!

Not metallic finish. And keypad is also different.

Guaranteed Phone Release Date

for all of you wondering, a very reliable source tells me the phone will be out between the timeframe of 12/01/2005 - 12/08/2005. look for it between that time frame. no it won't be out over or before thanksgiving. not it won't wait til xmas. no it won't be a 1Q release. that is the time frame. you can quote me to be 99.9% sure, unless something terribly wrong happens.

V325

This is a very good phone. Great Display, Camera, and Call Quality. Small compact phone the rubber that surrounds the phone makes it feel sturdy, If you are looking for just a basic camera phone with some cool option this is it. It lets you add fun frames after the pic is taken, also you can crop and rotate pictures and add graphics to pictures on the phone which is cool. I have been testing this phone for about a week now and I have not dropped a single call. I have better reception with this phone then I do with my LG8100.

Two Thumbs Up

Text Backlight?

Does anyone know what the text backlight color is? I prefer a soft white like the T720/T730 had.

The intense blue that most new phones (LG especially) seem to have hurts my eyes in low lighting - the same way those xenon bulb car headlights do.

Otherwise, this seems like a great basic phone - tri-mode capable, simple & ergonomic, large color screen, speakerphone, decent size/weight, etc - which is something Verizon desperately needs.

(Uninterested in camera capabilities...have a real camera for that)

too bad it has Verizon UI

As you can see from the pictures there is no center-menu button like on every other current Motorola phone...meaning this phone will likely be the first Motorola phone from Verizon to use their new standard Verizon Interface which is kinda ugly and annoying for those of us who like the interface in the V265 or E815
