Samsung SPH-A800 / MM-A800

does anyone have one of these for sale? i'd like to buy one...one that actually works.

This phone has been the best phone I've ever owned (along with the sanyo 5600).. sadly, I am having to replace it. Last week I was trying to write a text message and it froze on the first letter. I took the battery out and back in. Still didn't fix the problem. The sprint store couldnt fix it either. They said they will have to replace the phone. The bad thing is, there aren't any available anymore!!! I think I'll go a step down to the LG Fusic. Unless anyone has a better idea?? HELP!!! I am going to miss this phone haha!

Hey, I see this phone is now on Sprint's clearance site. Is it going BY-BY? My daughter was about to buy one. After all her trouble with the LG 325, one would think she would stay away from the slider format!?

I passed my A800 down to my daugther, she has had if over a year and has taken very good care of it. My hubby borrowed it one day which he was out and now where the puppy should be for the wallpaper I have STD codes. Does anyone know how i can remove this and can the puppy back?

This phone has been out for some time. It would be nice for Samsung to give us our wish and add ev-do.

I've seen in many forums where people would write "The data sync cable is not useful because there is no software available." C'mon now... have faith in technology. 😢

Does anyone know if the SPH-A800 has an external antenna port? Most Samsung phones have it hiding under a small rubber plug.

This is driving me crazy. I was able to copy MP3 files no problem over to the included 32 meg Transflash card included with the phone. I bought I 512mg transflash, and when I try to copy MP3s onto it, it says Error - The Device is not ready. I have exchanged three of the cards now, all the same result. No settings have changed on my computer, because I can still copy onto the 32 meg card. What is going on here, and what can I do? Any help would be appreciated

Does this phone have the feature where it still vibrates when the phone rings, lets say with an mp3 ringtone?

I bought a 512mb sandisk transflash card, I have a card reader but I cant drag any files to the card, it says its write protected.. What am I doin wrong?

I am looking into this phone for it's mp3 capability and 2.0 MP camera (I know these are both just adequate and not stellar in those areas) and I ride a motorcycle, so the less number of devices, the better. I was looking into a bluetooth adapter to use my headset while riding, and from what I understand, the adapter performs the same as a wired headset in terms of auto-answer, etc.
Has anybody had experience with a BT adapter and used it with bluetooth and calling, etc?
I'm fairly certain this would work this way.

I'm currently tied to my i500 for the Palm grafitti & touch screen to enter contacts/calendar events/surf the web/check my gmail and have about 1500 contacts w/phone & addresses..............I would love to keep all of this functionality and also have a decent camera and mp3 player with expandable memory all in one device.

Voice recognition, can it be used to enter contact information?

Phonebook capacity, is it possible to expand to thousands (like a palm phone) via the expandable memory slot?

Calendar/Task list, does voice recognition work to make entries and has anyone successfully synced to Outlook or other programs? (would it replace the Palm phone?)If so, how?

😕 I've seen a bunch of responses about a DUN #777 and it allows internet access, but how 😳 , is it free 😕 , how much does it cost 😳 , I use to have a Sanyo MM-5600 but lost it at the mall along with my purse 😡 😢 , Sprint sent me a Samsung A800 because the Sanyo was out of stock 😡 , let me just say that this phone is amazing 😁 , its so cute and pretty and sexy 😉 , but enough about me...Just Kidding 😉 ! But if anyone can teach me or help me in my predicament I would greatly appriciate it considering everyone here on this website is very educated in cellular phones and services. Thanks in advanced. 🙂
