over in the "CES 2005" discussion:

Any recommedations for Bluetooths for Samsung A930?

Now that I have had my Samsung a930 phone for a couple months, I am ready to get a Bluetooth headset. This is real new to me. A couple months ago, some forum users said some sets were incompatible with this phone. Any recommendations for which Bluetooth works well with this phone? I notice that the prices for Bluetooth sets on ebay run from a few dollars to way over $100. What is a good price point for a headset? Are the cheap ones any good? Thanks.

Sadly Its garbage!!!

I got the phone today in the mail.......Called fedEx Minutes later and asked them to come and pick it up. It was that bad. Signal was going in and out even after updates. FAT.FAT...FAT....bigger than my vx6000........Screens were nice, but there were almost no ringtones that were useable....

Got the Nokia 6236........I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone gets the razr so i can be one of the few with the nokia 6236.

Best phone verizon ever had!!!!

Again though the CDM-180 LOOKED REALLY COOL....but to fat for me. It actually looked like metal not plastic like in the pics.

Who is speaking here...

...experience or trash. I hear a lot of the trash while only one person has stated they have actually held the phone. Held not used. I have seen plenty worse designs, and the width is attractive to individuals like myself with disabilities affecting grip. Anyway, I have always been taught not to judge a book by its cover.

Fat phones need love too!

Excellent point about the disabilities,

however they should have called it something clever like the rascal or maybe have a slogan like help my finger is stuck and I can't dial!

They should call it "THE STUB"

They should axe the lame "CDM-180" name an' jus call it "THE STUB". An' then use some clever marketing slogan like "'Cuz it's hip to be square."

Hey, if they gonna make phones THIS ugly, they should try to turn it into an advantage and draw attention to the phone. 😁

Nice and small!

What's with the "haterz" here? I really dig this phone! My Audi 8600 has served me well and I was desperate for another SMALL Verizon handset. The current crop of chunky phones holds little appeal for me, especially after carrying the petite 8600 for two years.

The dimensions are quite similar:
8600: 3.27 x 1.65 x .80
180: 3.00 x 2.10 x 1.00

I'll take two! 😎

no video playback????

Doesn't seem too smart to not offer video playback with a widescreen format. Maybe next time they'll throw in windows mobile so you can watch widescreen movies.

LG Made?

This phone looks to be an LG phone. It goes to show you that everyone wants to be LG. The main screen looks like the new LG phones.
