Motorola V635

i am thinking about buying a motorola v635 i want to know if the camera has videoing with sound ? And how does the mp3 thing work and is the quality of the pictures good ? what would you give this out of ten ? plz reply

🙂 Has anyone used the v635 with Tmobile in the USA? Will Tmobile send the tzones settings for this phone if you call them? I am currenly using the Nokia 6230i and it's ok, I just think I would like the V635 better.

I was wondering if ANYONE could help me... My brother and I both just bought a couple V635's from abroad, and we LOVE the phone... but there seems to be a few small quirks we think need fixed, and I don't wanna flash/flex the phone or do any kind of brower updates, MMS updates, etc. before I can talk to someone who KNOWS if, and what type of updates I should do. For example, my MP3 player says "NO" in the phone status section, yet there is one. Thanks in advance for ANY help someone can give me!!! This forum is the BEST!!!

I wanted to do a comparison contrast research paper between moto v635 and sonyericson t226... i have millions of sources online but the thing is that : i need minimum total of 5 sources of which only 3 can be from internet and 2 MUST be from newspaper, book or magazine!!

can anybody refer me to any sort of hard copy sources about any of these 2 phones?

everytime i get a voicemail and when it would say "to delete press 7" or etc. it doesnt seem to work for me. or even if i call anywhere where i have to press the numbers in order to get to places it doesnt work, the thing is it JUST started to happen not so long ago....is it the phone? or is it the service and is there anything i can do to fix it myself? thank you

I click 'send in message' on the photo, 'ok' it, click persons name..

it says:

Msg: Slide show

I click send - says sending 0%

Then says unable to send, would you like to try again.

Any advice?

It's official, the launch party is in November. I bet you want to know what carrier is going to have it don't you? T-Mobile. 😳 😉

Don't know the exact date yet(other than Nov.), but it's finally going to show up on US shores.

I'm interested in this phone but read from one of the later reviews that Motorola was launching better phones (not sure in what way) in the next few months. Anyone have any idea of what they are or any details ? I do remember seeing articles about a new Razr coming but that's it.

i am stuck between the two and can't decide which is better. What is your opinion? thx

on the "info" page it says that this phone isn't available with the current carriers....and yet you can still buy it? hmm i'm a little confused... i have cingular..soo---?

current v600 owner, and i've been pretty happy so far, but now my phone has gotten old and the internal speaker barely works. i usually have to use bluetooth or speakerphone. one thing thats always bothered me about the speakerphone however, is that you have to wait until the other end picks up the call before seeing the speakerphone option. with other phones, sanyo's for instance, it has a seperate button for speakerphone and can be used to answer calls or it can be turned on while the other end is still ringing.

I couldnt see a speakerphone button on the pictures, but maybe there is another way to turn the speaker on before the other person answers the phone? it's always a hassle when I have to do that, then also wait for the little...

Im using this phone with T-mobile carrier but since its an open phone i cant do anything tmobile related or internet related as a matter of fact, like t-zone, instant messages and stuff...i was wondering if anyone can help me, if there are any codes i have to put in and where and how lol thank you 😁

Has anyone figured out how to stop getting the text message bt@ before and after you get a voice mail?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone have had this problem before. I recently been having problems deleting my voice messages using my v635. I can delete my messages from any other phone but not with my v635. It's annoying because I can't listen to any other messages either, until I delete my first message I hear. Has anyone solved this problem before? thanks 🙂

1st - is it possible to set different ringtones for different people or can i only use one tone for all incoming calls?

2nd - how do i put people into catagories i tried and cant figure it out.

thats all i can think of for now i just got the phone yesterday and i love it.using it with cingular no problems at all.

If you every look at the specs. here, you will see that the V635 suppose to get 9.8 days in standby mode! Ture or false? What's else the most days you every got?

i have a couple off problems with the v635. First of all, sometime when I play my mp3 player, it freezes and restarts. Also, when I play videos that I downloaded in the transflsh card, it says a system error occured. I have some theories of this problem. For the video, it might be that it is too long. I can play 30s clips with no prob, but when it get 4min and over it says system error. For the video and mp3 together, it might be that the transsflash card had been urrupted once, then i had to format it for it to work. What could be wrong, do i use my warrenty, or buy a new transflash card? PS what is flashing?

has anyone been able to download ringtones or themes from t-mobile.com? i get an error about an unsupported phone?

is there another place to get these things? hopefully free?
