This phone IS up on infocenter, and they list the price for the phone. The full retail price is $439.99, 1 year is $249 and a 2 year is $199. I think those nifty verizon people said this comes with a 50 dollar mail in rebate also, but the infocenter does not list mail in rebates. I still think it is so freakin stupid that you can't get the ring tones you want... ggrr...

oh yeah and p.s.

accorind to the infocenter, LG will send launch kits to arrive at verizon stores the week of July 4th, and after that they send the real deal, so at least we now know that it is coming this freakin month. Oh yeah and those launch kits come with dummy phones so if you really want to hold it and see it theres always the dummy!

Not get the ringtones you want? This phone is the best for ringtones! Along with the VX 7000 and VX 8000 you are able to record your own ringtones. If you get the volume right and hold it the right distance from the speaker you can get the same quality as the downloadable ringtones, and then you can make anything a ringtone. I must have 50 on my 7000. Not to mention the large dual speakers on the 8100.

Forget the e815, this phone has everything, including expandable memory, which is important if you plan to listen to music on it. Plus, it uses the new "dashboard" interface developed by LG and Verizon, which is going to be the standard interface found on all Verizon phones. (same interface used currently for VX7000 and VX8000) By the end o...

I can't stand the menu on the VX6100, and much prefer the menu used on the VX7000 and VX8000. I asked our LG rep why the difference, and he said that the 7000 and 8000 menu is called the dashboard, and was jointly developed by LG and Verizon, and will be the standard menu interface for all Verizon phones in the near future. He suggested a requirement for all new equipment to use this by the end of the year. I think it's similarity to the VCast interface suggests that this is probably true.
