Samsung SGH-P207

My daughter just bought me this phone and everything works pretty good except I can't share pics via multimedia. Anyone else have this issue? The internet works fine, texting, phone calls. The voice recognition leaves little to be desired lol. It locks up occassionally, and the battery isn't the greatest. My LG is surpasses this phone by a mile. I have put all the settings in from cingular/AT&T's web sight, but I still can't send or recieve. And AT&T I think don't want to help because it is an unlocked phone. They told be to go to their store and buy a "locked" phone lol. My daughters unlocked nokia does everything this should too. Any ideas?

I have a friend that is using a Sumsung SGH P207. The phone will not stop vibrating. We have tried everything. We have taken the battery out, the sim card out, turned the phone off for long periods of time. Nothing was worked. Has anyone experince this and how can I fix the problem.

Anyone know if you need anythign other than a USB cable to transfer mp3 ringtones from the computer to the phone? Do I need the $100 Samsung software package, or an $8 cable from Ebay?

Also, I noticed that the file format for the ringtones is .dm

Does this pose a problem when trying to create your own ringtones? A friend of mine uses a progam called Audacity to edit his mp3s into ringtones, but I think he has a v551.

I have had a lot of problems finding the headset for this model in any stores. I have looked in a couple of cingular stores as well as many other stores and still no luck. I have no desire to spend money on shipping and handling if I can find it in a retail store. Can anyone help me???

my old samsung used to have a service light that would blink rapidly in a different color if you received a message. Is there any way to notify you of a message without constantly opening the phone to check?

How do you turn off the flashing service lights that occurs when someone calls you on the SGH-p207?

Ok. I have figured out how to do pretty much everything with this phone. Except how to display my name inside when the phone is opened.

Every phone I have ever owned (modern phone), has let me display my name inside of the phone (or Banner) when the phone is open.. some even on the external display.

I could not figure it out on this phone or the e317 from Samsung that I had before this one.

It is really no big deal but I just want to know if it can be done.

I have recently upgraded to this Samsung P207 and have been pretty pleased with it. I was just wondering if I didn't have the right setting on or something, because all the other phones I know that have the screen on the outside you can push a side button to see the clock. If anyone can help me if this is possible I would appreciate it. All around I do like this phone and have recieved compliments.

I'm having a problem with getting pictures I take on my camera to show up full screen as wallpaper. The picture will show up, but has white lines on the top and bottom, not using the whole screen. Is there any way to make them fill the screen?
Any help would be very appiciated.

I'm getting a new phone this week, but I'm not sure which to get from Cingular. Even though the Samsung is discontinued, they still sell them. I do like both phones, but the problems everyone seems to be having with both phones are making it harder to decide. Can anyone give me some advice?

So I feel retarded. I did everything the manuel did in hopes for the caller ID picture to show... so why isn't it working and how do i fix this problem?

I purchased a p207 last monday. One of the new ones not recalled. I love it. Does anyone know how to change the default text message setting. It always goes to t9 and I have to change it before every message I send. There has to be a way to do this does anyone know how?

Hi, i recently bought my p207 about 2 weeks ago and love the phone, actually i bought two one for me and for my brother but anyways have been waiting for this phone to become available since i seen it online. Recently i noticed that i have been having a hard time hearing the rings when someone calls me. the reception is just fine but i cant hear it when i get a message or when someone calls me. Another thing that happens is the time will freeze on the caller id. i do have it on automatic update and yet i will be plugging it in at night and when i wake up the next morning the same time will still be on it so i have to open and close it for it to reset itself to the right time.
