ok if u go to Connection Setting and got Cingular Email what r the settings that come with the phone? im trying to access aol email using IMAP but i think i messed things up under Cingular email settings so i need whatever the phone came with..thks
Text Message Viewing Problem
Ok when the slider is in its closed position and i goto my messages and try to view a text message the phone sometimes doesnt show the text message and goes straight to the main wallpaper screen. when i try it other times it works..its hit and miss..sometimes yes and sometimes no..but i am able to view the messages when the slider is open without any problems. is this a software glitch. or is it just my phone?

Downloaded Ringtone Question
I downloaded a music ringtone to my phone from the website but when it plays on my phone, it is only a short 5 second verse of the song and then it repeats. Is there a way to set it to play more of the song? It would be very dissapointing to pay 2.50 for a 5 second vocal of a song. Thanks to anyone that can help.

I just got this phone and have a few questions if anyone knows the answers to....I would appreciate it!
1. Is there anyway to not have to unlock the phone everytime it closes?
2. Anyway to stop the front lights from flashing? There is an off option but it doesn't seem to effect incoming calls.
3. Can you get the picture caller ID to take up the whole screen and not have the blue bars at the top and bottom?

Ringer Fading In?!?!
I've noticed that my ringer fades in. I don't know if this is something recent or always there and I didn't notice. Maybe its a feature I can turn off or something cause I'm not very fond of it. Anyone get this? For those that don't understand, my phone rings very low for about 2 rings then gets loud. It's pretty annoying, especially if you have nice ringers.

cingular and AOL email??
ok when i had att it had mmode which had aol email..with cingulars medianet aol is no longer there...how do i check aol emails?? do i have to use imap and smtp? if so whats the setup..thks

Video Recodring
i was just reading over the review from radiokbc and he said that you cannot record vdo in 352x288 and 320x240 but you can. all you have to do is change the recording mode to normal. if you change the recording mode to normal, you can also change the quality of the vdo as well.
Side Buttons? - MP3 and Cam.
Just wanna know if any of you people with this phone has working side buttons ie. does the mp3 player and cam launch? Its wierd, for me the sidebuttons dont do anything when pressed. Anyone can help out? Thanks ðŸ¤

Pics...too dark?
Does anyone else feel that the pictures come out too dark? Especially pictures taken in low light. The flash seems very bright but the pics still seem dark. My old VGA cameraphone seemed to fair better in the dark then the 1.3 megapixel p777. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is this cause of the higher resolution? What have your experiences been with the p777 camera?

Problems Synch-ing with PC
I installed EasyStudio II File Manager (comes with phone) last night - Horrible program! It will not recognize my phone at all when I plugged into each USB port separately, I had to eventually uninstall after 1 hour of jacking with it.
Is anyone else having this problem, or have a remedy?

Trying to sign onto Yahoo??
ok..the first time i went to the yahoo page and i tried to sign on i got this weird message. i hit ok and i get a connection failed. from then whenever i try to sign on to yahoo i get a "File to Large" message. so i goto cingular and get a new sim card..again i am able to goto the site but once i try to sign on i get that same message and again i am not able to even goto the yahoo site anymore..i get a file to large..whats the deal here.. i never had problems likt this with my nokia.
Need help transfering music to phone
OK how do i go about transfering music from a CD to the phone using the filemanager software? or even music from PC...most of my music is a .oma or .wma file

Speakerphone?
Every post I've read says this phone has no speakerphone. On the Samsung website and CNET it says it does. Which is it? Was there a second release on some kind that they included it?
