i found this fone in a box of junk, comes on bot i dont have a charger....

Is there anyway to stop it from going to the internet. I do not use the phones internet and I keep hitting that button. Any help would be very much appreciated.

does the software come in the phone or does it come on a disc to download to the phone

Everything's installed and the USB is all in... but when I try to send an mp3 to my phone, it won't send. The sending option is gray when I select an mp3 song.
I can't get it to work.
Please help.

I need a easy studio data does anyone know where i can download it for free? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

For you guys that got new phones from cingular what did you tell them? did you tell them that it droped calls and failed to connect as well as doesnt sync with your computer? just curious on what you told them so i may be able to get the same deal

Can't Believe the phone is discontinued...no wonder i haven't seen it on the cingular website....

check out the lg a7110. i knew lg like to just mimmick and copy samsung but dang. thats just too far.

ok i installed the Easy Studio II but once it gets to the installing of the USB it gives my some mess about "IT CAN NOT INSTALL BECAUSE IT DID NOT PASS THE WINDOWS LOGO TESTING." Ok can ANYONE help me out cuz this is getting to me already i've uninstalled it and installed it back but it still does the samething!!! Peace help me thank you very much 😢

I just purchased Samsung P777 yesterday. I bought this phone for its multifuntional capabilities: 1.3 mp camera, camcorder, and especially MP3 player.

However, after installing the included easy studio file manager, I found out that the software does not recognize my phone.

When I open the file manager, it indicates "offline" on the lower left corner of the screen. I uninstalled and installed the software and also diabled virus programs and rebooted computer time after time, and yet it would keep on saying "offline"

I called samsung customer service and talked to level 2 support tech. However, he could not solve the software problem. He said he would get back to me with solution, but he has not. He kept on saying that it is caused...

Hello.
I understand that this phone has 100MB of shared memory. I know what shared memory means, that everything that is stored in the phone uses memory from the same pool of memory. The only thing I'm not familiar with is how much 100MB actually is. I do not have the phone yet, but lets say I have a few pictures stored and an average number of contacts stored, how many MP3 songs would be able to be stored in this phone. I understand that it's nothing like an Ipod or anything, but I want to get a general idea.
Also, generally only about 20 or so songs are able to be stored on other phones with MP3 players right? Well, with this phone, is there any way to expand the memory OR have a portable attatchment that stores data that can just h...

Is it true the software for this phone takes up 50 megabytes?

Now that I have finally figured out how to get the screensaver off when the phone is closed (hold down the side volume buttons or the button that is designated to unlock the keys) I was wondering if anyone knows how to lock the keys once the phone has been activted while it is closed? Thanks.

after i made a phonecall to my friend, (this is after three days i got my phone) my screen went distorted. it basically froze, i turned off my phone... turned it back on and i got t.v static on my phone. i can still make and recieve phonecalls but i don't know who's calling me.. and i never know if my calls are getting through. before that i've had an issue too where half of my buttons wouldn't work, especially my talk key.
this is a fabulous phone, but i'm just wondering if any of you have the same problems as well. (returning it and they better give me a new one, i have warranty)

Not to sound insecure, but I hate that the phone lights up so many colors (including pink and light purple) when someone calls. I went to Service Light and got it changed to just Blue and Green, but it still lights up pink and alla that when someone calls.

Anyone have a solution? Or am I stuck with my insecurities?

just wondering if this is normal...my phone restarts once in a while for no reason. even sometimes when im using it..it freezes up and it says Please Wait and it restarts..what the hell..im really not likin this phone.

i just ordered a new p777 because my old one is acting up..now i purchased a game while back and downloaded it onto my old p777...will i lose that or is there somehow i can redownload the game onto my new phone..thks
