Multi Tasking

Does anyone know if it is possible to be on a phone call and view your calendar and/or address book at the same time to look something up?

How does it rate as a phone?

I would like to know how this Blackberry rates as a phone, especially the reception. For those of you who have this phone and travel with it (within the US), how is the signal quality? Do you get many dropped calls? Does it also work within buildings well?

I am looking for a PDA phone or smartphone that will handle emails and that will be a reliable phone as well. Basically, for me to get one, it has to be as good a phone as it is a PDA. I don't care about features like a camera or anything else that attracts a younger consumer. I want to be able to travel and receive emails with or without attachments and to be able to have a reliable phone even if I am driving across the country. (I am a T-Mobile customer by the way)

Thanks!...

Will This Work In Trinidad and Tobago

I was wondering if this would work in Trinidad because on the blackberry site, they listed a nbumber of islands but Trinidad isn't on that list.

Also will you all recommend this phone?

I've seen some bad reviews on Amazon, I'm thinking they are mostly cingular problems right?

Blackberry and Dell Axim Bluetooth LInk

I have a Blackberry 7290 on a Att Wireless/Cingular GPRS network. I have full internet access through the Blackberry. Is it possible to connect by Dell Axim through Bluetooth to my Blackberry 7290 x50v to get Internet access on my Dell Axim. Both are bluetooth enabled. If so, what would I need to do?

Bluetooth

I wish RIM didnt "crippled" the bluetooth. I was looking forward to sync my contacts and Calendar over bluetooth.

True World Phone

I have a very tall order...I need a mobile that works in the U.S., China, Latin America, Japan and Korea. I have done much research and can't come up with a phone that does all. So I have convinced my Vice President who is making this request that he may have to carry 2 phones, one for Japan and South Korea, and one for everywhere else. His ATT quadband GSM phone is good for everywhere else. I understand he can rent phones in Japan (Docomo) and S. Korea (KTF) and move his ATT sim to those phones. However, rental is inconvenient for him so I want to purchase one. I can't find a vendor in the U.S. to purchase one from. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fill this tall request? Many Thanks.

Availability?

Is the 7290 available from Cingular yet? Their website listed it last week as starting shipping on 10/5, but I checked today and they've taken down the 7290 and put back the 7280. Phonescoop lists the phone as available though.

If it's not available yet, anyone have any idea when it will be?

TIA,
Mark
