Does anyone know if the range on the V551 is comparable to the V600 or is it more like the V3, which I heard had a longer Bluetooth range than the V600 did. 🙂

Is it just me or is the V551 much better than the V600 because it has EDGE and is at a much lower price?

I just called one of the Cingular stores here in Connecticut and they said that they will be getting the v551 and that it's just a matter of time. He said, however, that they ARE expecting it to arive within October.

I actually saw the v551, it had some very good features but the thing that bothered me was the way it looks, what really bothered me was the front of the phone, I thought when you recieve a call you had the ability to have their picture show on as a collar ID sorta like the samsungg e316, does any other motorola phone have this ability besides the v710 or the RAZ?

I want to buy this phone unlocked and then insert my companies sim card in it. Can any1 tell me how long i may have to wait before the phone is available like that and also how much i'm looking at. Also i am open to any suggestions beacuse i am not living in the us at the mo but i want the phone so wat is the best and cheapest way to get it so i can just put in my current sim card?

How come the v551 isn't available on the Cingular website right now. It was there yesterday.

I've noticed Cingulars web page only offers two year contracts. Anyone have any advice on how to get a v551 with a one year contract? I'm expecting to have to pay a little more for the handset as long as its not ridiculous. I'm currently with Verizon and don't want to commit two Cingular for two years sight unseen.

I call cingular to order V551 and being told that it can only be ordered from their website. I tell them the upgrade feature on the website is not working getting msg "this feature is currently unavailable" ok can I order now? Nope our site is down just keep checking...Now that BLOWS/// 👿

well I just compared my existing phone which is the 525, and the new v551 and they are both bassically the same except for the v551 records video or something and one other unimportant thing. I was just wondering what makes the v551 better then the v525?,

I was just curious if ATT will carry this phone I was waiting oh soo patently for this phone to come out, at the moment I am carrying the moto 505, if ATT doesn't. is it possible for me to buy it at cingular since cingular and ATT merged?

i have a question this phone boast a 65,000 color display while the v620 has 262,000 color display is there a difference in the color display or should i look at the v551 because it has edge? IS there a difference in camera quality in the v620 and v551?

I am wondering if anyone could help me make the right choice. I am inbetween minds with the v551 and the samsung e-315. If anyone can help me choose which 1 will be the better buy it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any info on when this phone should ship. There haven't been any posts about this phone since the 3rd, so I am curious. Also wondering about how this phone will interact via bluetooth vs. the MPx220. I am trying to decide on which phone to get, although I am not sure how the bluetooth via the Windows operating system will play with my Palm T3. While I like the interface of the MPx220 more, than the V551 (I am guessing the v551 interface will look like the V600), I would imagine the V551 might be more compatible with my palm in terms of bluetooth (as far as sharing contacts, appt's etc.). Anyone have any insight on this.

I noticed that the people in the Moto RAZR V3 forum are posting that phone is starting to ship... Was wondering if anyone had anything on the V551 shipping?

The sales people at the Cingular store near me said they heard that Cingular was gonna be receiving a bunch of new phones soon... So far it looks like the RAZR V3 is gonna be a part of that. Now wondering if the V551 will be too...
