This sounds like a good deal Motorola HS801 for $30.00 after MIR from Cingular has anyone used this handset how does it compares in terms of voice quality with HS820.

Any comments will help.

I get a small crackling noise sometimes, but it's only started today so I'm wondring if it's because I have a single bar of battery life. I like the HS810 because I can flip the boom mic to turn it on and off and that way keep your mp3 ringtones working. I've only had one person complain about voice quality and that's when the bluetooth signal got really weak in a mall because I was so deep inside that the call wasn't getting very good RF signal from the phone to the tower.

The HS 820 is less bulky on the ear and a tiny bit lighter. Also the 820 has an extra hour talk time on battery life.

The mic quality is lower on the HS820, but still good, and resistance to wind really doesn't exist on the 820. I like the boom mic a lot so I picked up the 810.
