Sony Ericsson P910

Anyone have any luck with software that synchronizes the P910 and MS Outlook 2003? In particular, I want to know I can synch my Catagories in Tasks. Can't find any confirmation that the P910 can do. Any successes or failures? Thanks.

My boss has a treo 650, and he's interested in getting a p910. I have a few questions about the phone:

1) Does it do "email push" or is it "push ready?" In other words, how do you send / receive email on the phone? Do you have to go online in order to see that you have a new email?

2) My boss has over 2,000 contacts in his "Palm Desktop" software on his PC. Is this phone compatible with this software? If not, is there a seamless way to transport this many contacts over to the phone from his computer?

3) Can the phone store up to 2,000 contacts, or more?

4) How does it compare to the treo, in general? Are there any major shortcomings to this phone in comparison to the treo?

I would like to purchase the P910 A but wanted to know if anyone has used the "push email" capabilities. This makes the P910 like the Blackberry. In addition, any word on whether Sony Ericsson will add Wi-Fi in 2005?

I've had my P910a for almost 2 weeks now. People that I talk to on it tell me that the sound from my phone is too loud, and that they can hear every background noise too. It gets to the point where if I'm in, say, a coffee shop, I may have to step out for people to hear me.

This has never happened with any other mobile I've had (most recently Samsung SPH-i500) and I definitely don't have a loud voice - on the contrary, I usually speak in a low voice.

Has anyone else experienced a too-sensitive microphone on this phone?

The carrier is AT&T/Cingular, FWIW.

I need to find out whether the P910i will work in the RTP area of NC. Also, anyone know if it is available to see in any showroom in RTP? I know the P910a was designed for North America but I wanted something that will work here and overseas (Europe, Asia). My service provider is Cingular. Thanks for your help.

I've been looking that these 2 phones, and I just can't decide.

Should I get the p910a, which is available. Should I wait for the s710a which may be available any day.

Price is not an issue, I love wasting money either way.

Is the p910a a good enough PDA to justify tossing my Dell x50v? I'm used to both palm and CE based devices. How is the application support for the UIQ?

How is the data speed? Should I wait for the EDGE s710a? I could use this with my existing PDA.

I have a good PDA, I'm looking for a good phone. If that phone happens to be a PDA so be it.

I once used the P800 and sold it due to an annoying situtation that is described below, please tell me if the P910 still has that situation:

Outlook Contacts stored in subfolders Only contacts stored in the top level of your Outlook Contacts folder are synchronized. Contacts stored in subfolders or anywhere else are not synchronized. To synchronize all your contacts, make sure your Outlook contacts appear in the top level of your Outlook Contacts folder.

i upgraded from a nokia 6600 to a p910 recently, and on my 6600 it kept a log of either 1 day or 10 days of every gprs/sms message/call i recieved/missed or called out. it logged the time, date and the number. does anyone know if the p910 does the same?

I just bought a Sony Ericsson P910i on Ebay. All letter and digits appear in Chinese. How can I change the Language to display in English? The Owner's Manual doesn't give step by step information on how to do it. Does anyone on this forum know how to do it?

Can anyone confirm if this phone is going to be with AT&T/Cingular and when? I have the P800, greeeeaaaaat phone!!!!!! I can't wait to get this phone. By the way, for all of you who keep asking...... There is NO comparison to this phone. My goodness, do the comarison before you ask these questions.
