Unlocking needed?

I also want to be able to use this in a country that uses 900/1800 GSM.

Is it easy to unlock a SX66, or is that not needed?

Upgrade from AUDIOVOX 5600 to the SX66?

Salutations,
If at all possible to get input on the upgrade from the AUDIOVOX 5600 to the SX66. Have only been able to load MS Streets, no other apps will work, that I have tried. Still in my 30 day trail period.
Purchased the 5600 because it was alot less $$, Siemens has a bad history of poor phone signal... or that what the sale rep said at Cingular store.
Should I fork up the money for the SX66?
Will it do that much more?
Thanks for your input.

What SX66 varieties are there?

Hello,
I was wondering what flavors of the SX66/Blue Angel/HTC are out there?
Unlocked?
Cingular?
T-Mobile?
others...?

Has anyone noticed what differences there are between these (e.g. hardware, software, or accessories)?

Thanks

Compared to Samsung i730?

I'm sure there are some of you out there that have done your homework and can educate me on the differences between these two.
TIA! 🙂

Windows Mobile 5.0?

Anyone heard if these devices will be getting a Windows Mobile 5.0 upgrade at some point? For that matter, does anyone have the technical specifications of the device (other than what appears here)? I've been all over Siemens' web site site and nothing on the SX66 shows up anywhere. I realize that this is an OEM device (From HTC, I believe), but would like to see the manufacturer/OEM site for support info, patches, etc. Anyone have any clues on this?

SX66 clock is missing!??

I need some help! Two days ago my SX66 died. I must have lost the backup battery because once I recharged it, all my data and programs were gone. It was back to factory specs! UGH! Regardless, I have now reinstalled all my programs and data but have encountered and new problem. The clock in the nav bar (upper right hand corner) is gone.

Anyone have this happen or know how to get it back? I have tried everything! HELP!

Retrieving e-mail or e-mail alerts from multiple accounts

I have multiple e-mail accounts setup on the SX66, but the device only receives e-mails from the "active" account (the one that is open). The only way I know to get all e-mails from all accounts is to open up each e-mail account and do a "send and receive" for each account.

Does anyone know of a resolution to this issue?

With the old AT&T, they had mobile office which would send text alerts for any accounts you had setup on the mobile office website...a great feature.

My accounts are all POP e-mail accounts.
