hey nexteli860

you mentioned "Soon nextel will be changing their system from 3:1 to 6:1 so service will be better than any other provider out there, plus they're constantly building new towers all over the place"

with the 6:1 voice coder they wont be the best provider out there. but yes you are correct that they are building new towers all over the place. they are building 2200 cell sites in 2004, 2500+ in 2005 2006 and 2007. tim donahue the ceo of nextel says he wants to have a network like verizon's. (by the way earnings call is oct 22nd at 830 so enjoy it if you guys are listening, becuase i am going to listen).

nextel should get better becuase of the 6:1 voice coder, becuase it lets more callers on a channel and what not(capacity). what nextel n...

INTERNATIONAL CALLING FROM YOUR CELL......VERY CHEAP

Does anyone here pay the herendous prices for international dialing through there wireless service...Well if you do i can start you through a company that allows you to call from your cell phone, you call a 212 number, then it gives you a dial tone to call where ever you need in the world...If u sign up before the end of the month, the company will give you to start $5 free of calling....

Most countries in Europe are 6cents, so this is definetely cheaper than Verizon..

I know calling cards may be cheaper, but on this there is no connection fee, and u do not need to carry a stupid card around. This service works as well for other wireless providers, and landline companies..

if you are interested email me:

VERIZON VS. NEXTEL

I have a company and I have a life. I have both Nextel and Verizon for one simple reason; Nextel is very great with the DIRECT CONNECT and ok with the cellular service but Verizon is way better than Nextel when it comes to receiving and placing a cellular call. With Verizons Dig. @ Anlg service, you can go almost anywhere in the U.S. and receive service with Verizon but with Nextel its very limited. Nextel phones are way better in quality but Verizon cellular service is better than Nextel. I never miss an incoming call with Verizon and with Nextel I miss around 30% of the calls and thats with the antenna up and I live in the Chicagoland area where Nextel is suppose to be strong. If I hated DIRECT CONNECT and didnt have a company, you know whe...

MTech2k4 are you sure about that release date for the i930?

October? If that is the case I will be thrilled.
I am not saying your wrong but I heard that we won't be seeing that i930 for at least another 4 months. Some guy on another forum said that it hadn't been FCC typed in or some **** like that and that the FCC process takes at least 90 days.
I don't know but where did you hear October?

Actually FANLESS your wrong.

My phone might be a beta, I don't know I bought it from ebay. But one thing I am certain of is that Nextel is not getting the phone (V3 Razor).
Why the hell would Nextel get it. ANyway the Razor sux either way and the V600? Are you on crack, they have had more problems with that crap phone than any before it sux too. You'll see when it comes out. People will be hating on your razor more than me.

Can anyones speaker phone or volume compete with iden?

I am sorry but it just boggles my mind that people from other carriers don't go crazy with the performance of their ear piece volume and speaker phone. I will be honest with you that is the only reason I have nextel. I do like DC and their other services but a phone is a phone to me . But Nextel is the only one I have ever used that has good volume. I have had everyone and all the other phones out there you have to hold the ear piece to your head with all your force to hear. And the ones that do have speaker phone, the speaker sucks. Maybe it is just me but anyone else hear me. Surprised
