LG PM-325

I would like to know if there are other LG PM325 owners that are having a problem with the phone just powering down by itself. I have had the software updated three times and it still happens. The funny thing is that last time I was at Sprint PCS to correct the issue another customer came in with the same phone and the same problem. Sprint will not replace the phone unless they see the problem happen. Since this is such a random problem, it never happens when the tech has it. I am trying to find out how wide-spread this issue is.

The Sprint site and articles I've read about this phone claim that you can record your own ringtones. But I can't figure out how. I called Sprint and got nowhere. They didn't know either. Has anyone figured it out?

I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that is having this issue as well.
I have my memory almost full with ringers, approximately 40 or so, varying in length, etc.
When I try to access the ringers menu, it takes at least 4 to 5 seconds to load the menu; deleting a file takes even longer (even if it's only a few kb) It's only slightly annoying, but if I want to add a new ringer and clean out some less used ones, it will take forever.
Anyone know what to do?

'erase all your ringers' or something dumb like that)

I cannot seem to figure out how to put my phone on silent and vibe

i've had the pm325 for about 3 or 4 months now, and i've had to replace it twice within a month because it's been having some major problems with the phone book. i can't add or delete any contacts. when i try to add, it gives me a "contact save exception" error message. it also won't let me delete any of my contacts, while at the same time not displaying any of my contacts past v or only half of my w's. also, i can't use the firmware upgrade. i've set it to upgrade before, and 30 minutes later, it still displays "searching for upgrade". any help would be appreciated.

I am a dealer for a Sprint in a affiliate market. This phone was removed from my order sheet today. Just like with the Sanyo 7400 there was no warning and the phone has been out of stock for a week.

I really wish we would get some warning if phones are being discontinued.

Has anyone with an LG PM-325 paired it with a DaimlerChrysler vehicle equipped with UConnect?
The DCX UConnect web site gives pairing instructions for this model, so it's supported, but I'd like to know if anyone has actually used their phone with UConnect, and what their experience has been. This is the main reason I purchased this phone.

I'm considering buying this phone to replace my Sanyo RL7300 due to reception and signal strength problems. I'm not all that concerned with cameras and stuff, I just want good reception.

Can anyone comment on whether this phone has any better or worse reception than the Sanyos or other sprint phones for that matter?

I have had my phone for few months so far and I just recently bought a USB Bluetooth adapted for my PC. My idea was to be able to connect my phone with the PC and swap files between. It seems to me that this is impossible. I can get it to work in DUN mode but can't get it to connect. The phone always gives me the message that "connection failed". My USB BT Adapter sees the phone. I read some messages in the forum and as far as I get it this phone is disabled for OBEX. My question are - is there a way to get that "OBEX" function to work? Do I need to use a special software for that? Can I unlock my self that function?
I already talked to Sprint and a guy from their Bluetooth department gave me lame explanation that my phone does not work on ...

Ok, I got my LG 325 about a week ago. I wanted to wait and see how everything worked before inventing on a BT headset. I picked up a Sony BT headset. It paired, but all I got was static. I returned that one and got a higher end one, same result. I switched to a Motorola H-someting and same thing. Upgraded to a Motorola Hs820 and well SAME THING all static. I finally down graded again, with Plantronics M2500 and still I get the same results. Is my new phone all screwed up? should I return it and get anotherone? I took it to sprint and they said that the phone works fine, but that they can't warranty it unless they use it with one of their headsets!!!! Ok...so which one do I use that will guarrantee me satisfaction? This th...

what does "visibility" on the bluetooth menu mean?

I've had the phone for 4 days and am happy for the most part. I have been trying to use my Motorola HS820 headset. I can answer calls, take call waitings, end calls, but cannot make calls. I have entered voice dials in my phone and they work great without the headset. The manual for the phone gives no details and the headset manual says to make a short depression of the multi function button and speak the name. I get no response. The best I can get is with a long depression the keyboard will light up but no other response. What am I doing wrong.

What headsets can I use with this phone???? What is the best one???

I'm a newbie user of this phone (and of Bluetooth)... I successfully paired the headset with the phone, but how do I set the phone so I hear everything through the headset?

I thought you selected "Bluetooth" from the main menu, then select the heaset, and there was an option to change the headset "mode"... but no option appears, just: Connect / Disconnect, Rename, and Erase.

When browsing the web using the phone, if you access the log on page for websites (like Yahoo mail) that require USERNAME and PASSWORD, you get a drop-down menu to quickly insert previous entries into these fields.

HOW DO YOU ERASE THE ENTRIES IN THESE DROP DOWN MENUS? SOME OF MY USERNAMES ARE INCORRECT, AND I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET THEM OUT OF THE DROP DOWN MENU!!!

When using the camera, if I press the left arrow it will zoom to x2 but no further. The PM-325 was advertised as being a x8 zoom. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
