Motorola RAZR V3

Hey guys. I have a weird problem with the AIM feature on my RAZR. Here's the deal: I can sign onto AIM using one of my screen names, but the screen-name i want to be signed onto throws an error when i try to log on via my phone. It says that the server is not responding or something. Is there anything in my AIM properties that i need to adjust to be able to log on from my phone?

Does anyone know how to use Moblie PhoneTools by Motorola bc I downloaded the other day and am havining trouble figuring out how to use it?

OK, so i just got my new razr v3m and i need to know a few things. First of all. I have my usb cord and i can put songs on my phone but how do i make it a ringtone? Second, how do i put wallpapers on my phone off my computer. Third question, how do i put a video as my wallpaper...when i go to edit wallpaper, none of my videos come up. Fourth question, is there any way to change the exterior wallpaper on my phone? And by the way, im pretty good with computers but when you start telling me to change te wav file to a .mp4 to mpeg3,,, i dont know what that means, so keep it simple 😁 . thanks.

I have a motorola v3 razr...I have been out of the country, and cant remember the code to unlock txt messages....I need help!!! please contact me i just returned from iraq and need to be able to unlock the security settings on this to use this function...

when i go to use the text message function it just tells me to "Enter Unlock Code"

My keyboad completely locked on my RAZR. The only button that works is the on/off. Any idea of how to reset it? I can't get into any menus. Thanks!

Ok...I hope this doesn't sound stupid; but how can I remove the SIM card without damaging it?

Does the Cingular Razr V3 come with a 32 or 64 bit sim card?

I work for Cingular. This phone is terrible. I have had many customers that have had problems with this phone. There was one guy who had three lines...each one on a Razor. He had to do 19 replacements on the three phones all together within six months because of defects. He became so digusted that he bought all new phones at full retail price and sold the Razors to some status-hungry suckers on E-Bay. He is only the first of many unsatisfied Razor owners.
Part of the reason why the Razors have so many problems are the materials and the labor. Razors were originally $1000 when they came out on the market because they were well-made with quality materials. But of course, everyone wanted the super-slim, super-sleek, super-sexy Razor......

When both recieving and making calls The earpiece of the phone no longer works I can only hear people when its in speakerphone mode. I have a friend that this happened to on a V551. Is this a motorola quirk or is there an easy solution has anyone else expirienced this. Thanks

I'm getting a new phone, and wanted to stear clear of the razr. Then I read it has class 1 bluetooth, which means it should work up to 100m. If you own this, what kind of range are you getting with your bluetooth headsets?

I was thinking about it and I began to wonder if you could put a v3i housing on the v3. I like the look of the v3i but don't really need the features. So I was just wondering if anyone else had thought of this or attempted it. Any ideas?

In case you haven’t heard, Cingular is not going to offer “FastForward” to new customers after next week. If you already have the option you will be able to keep it.

I have a RAZR, and I am able to use this option without a cradle (which is NOT available for the V3’s).

There is a simple formula that you key into the phone to turn FastForward on and off.

It is as follows:

To activate: *21# send
To deactivate: #21# send

To set it up with a phone number to forward to:

**21* (enter phone#) # Send

ie: ** 21*12125551234# send.

You only have to put the number in once.
If you want to change the forward number, repeat the above.

The forwarded calls will show up on you invoice, but will NOT be counted in your mon...

hi everyone and thank you in advance. I have a t-mobile branded motorola v3. i have extremely weak eyesite that is not treatable at this point and was wondering if there is some type of zoom setting on the phone that will allow the phone to display the characters in larger font/text. if there is please assist, it would be much appreciated.

Is there any way to get the V3 to display phone numbers, whether recent calls or numbers in the phone book, with hyphens or spaces between area codes and prefixes.
The numbers are small and it's hard to quickly tell who is calling.
For instance, my phone displays a number as ##########, instead of ###-###-####
or ### ### ####.

For Christmas, I will be probaly be switching to Cingular, or just stay with Alltel. I am getting the Razr V3 and i kno with alltel, u get texting unlimited in ur plan, but wat about cingular cause me and my sister love texting and my sister has a bf and they text back and forth! so please respond if they have that in there plan and since im still young(kid almost a teen) my hands are small and would it be easy to text?? is it unlimited on cingular in your plan??!?!?!? i am getting the pink razr v3 and probaly with cingular but might stay with alltel.help!!!!!!!!!! 🤤 😉 😢 😳 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤

I'm looking to get a cingular razr v3r. Is the only difference between the v3r and v3i is the v3i has itunes and v3r has the motorola music player. Also I won't really play music, so can the sd card store video and pics (or what can it store).

If it can't store pics/vids then why would it be better then the v3?

I have a magenta Razr that I'm using on Cellular One.

I just had my phone sitting here on my desk and I look over and notice the front display is lit up and it says "Sending" in a box with an hourglass next to it. WTF was that? Does anybody know? I didn't send a message and Bluetooth is off. It just did this all on it's own.

I'd really like to know what that was.

i have been gettin some prank phone calls lately. they have stopped.. for now. the caller uses *67 to block his call. i was wandering if there is any product out there where you can plug your phone into the computer and you can basically "unblock" the private number to get the actual number they are calling with. i only want this to simply call his parents/guardians and tell them the situation so it will stop, nothing else. i would highly appreciate the help... thanks in advance. NOTE: i DO hook my razr to my copmuter often.. i just need a program to retrieve this number.

While talking on my RAZR a week ago, it dropped my call and displayed that it had no service. I immediately thought that cingular was having trouble with our local tower, so I just laid it to the side and really didn't think twice about it. An hour later, I still had no service, which was very unusual, so I popped out my sim card and stuck it in another phone I had lying around. Surprise, I had service. I called cingular and it turns out my warranty had ran out a mere 2 days prior so it would cost me $130 and my broken phone to get a replacement. I bought a new antenna and installed it, but still no service. Everything else is fine. It powers on, reads my sim card. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do to fix this?

Forgive the alliteration... ok... here's the thing... my v4 is acting strange. It will sometimes go into this fit of what I can only describe as not booting up completely... like it gets hung up... and I can't turn the phone on at all... it's locks up and shuts down... now... I read on the internet that one guy had a similar problem... he said to let the battery die completely... and then plug in the charger and try to start the phone and it would work... I tried it on a chance and it worked, but I can't figure out why it did. Any ideas??

I tried to boot it up before that a ton of times... i didn't think that this method had any merit, but I am currently using the cell.

Any ideas?
