Caller display No Pic

On my Sony p800 and my t68i it shows the photo when the person calls in your
contact folder. My new Nokia 7610 is not showing the photo's when the person
calls
I have placed the photos in my contacts folder. Is this function featured on
this phone or do I need to set it up

Now Available at Nokiausa.com

Still can't seem to find any local stores that have this phone (Only the dummy phone). But Nokiausa.com is now offering the phone with free shipping for $499 (No contract).

I'm Sick Of Waiting!!!!

I've been looking at pictures of this damn phone for 6 months. It's starting to feel like an old phone and it's not even out yet. I don't know if I even want it anymore, and now it might not be out for 2 MORE MONTHS!!Can someone please tell me why this phone can be working all over the world and all we seem to get here in the States are carbon copy silver flip phones!! I went into a cell phone store here in Manhattan and I counted a dozen different silver flip phones with color screens and cameras.

Cingular delay report

Two local (Seattle) Cingular stores reported that they won't have the 7610 for "at least two months."

On the one hand, this is an advance: Up until now, local and national sales reps would only say "I haven't heard anything about us carrying that phone." This is the first time that someone at Cingular acknowledged that they will be getting the phone.

Just not yet.

lifeblog and 7610

started using lifeblog with my new 7610. Here's a problem: once you sync with Lifeblog on the PC all photos - except the one used for wallpaper - transfers off phone. I know you can switch photos you want to keep on phone to "favourites" and they stay on the phone. But here's the thing, you can't use them as wallpaper anymore, at least I can't. anyone come across this?

7610 and Bluetooth Headset

Hi,

Does the 7610 support voice dialing through a bluetooth headest? I have a SE HBH-65. I should at least be able answer and end calls but I am not sure about voice dial.

Thanks,

Mark

AT&T Rep told me that it doesn't work with their service

He didn't seem to know what he was talking about because he would put me on hold for five minutes each time I asked him a question. When I asked him why it wouldn't work he said "because the phone is made in such a way that it will only function with some carriers."

Has anyone tried putting an AT&T sim card into this phone?

Thanks,

Stereo

So I know the 7610 can't play stereo. Is that a software or hardware limitation? B/c if it's software, couldn't I get an app that handles stereo?

Thanks

What Takes U.S. Companies So Long

I've been looking at the 7610 since it was first announced on Phone Scoop in March. I go to Europe every year in Sptember on business and I figured there was plenty of time for the phone to come out so I could pick it up and us it on my trip. Well as you all know this phone still isn't available here. While Europe is consistently ahead of us in service, coverage and products we're stuck with the same lame bunch of silver Samsung flip phones, or 3 year old Nokias. I can understand that it's a slow process to get the networks here up to speed with Europe. There is a lot more space to cover after all. What I don't get is why we have to wait a year or more for new phones. My contract with T Mobile ran out in May and I'm still waiting to g...

Just bought "unlocked" 7610. How do I enable it?

I just bought this phone on eBay #5719950694

I currently own a Nokia 3100 and have a contract with AT&T. What do I need to do to get it to work? Can I take the "sim card" from my old Nokia phone?

Thanks,
Juzzling

7610 on cingular.com

I found the 7610 on Cingular's website under the games section. If you follow the link "what games are available for my phone," this phone is one of the options available, along with the 6230. Hopefully this means they're coming soon. 😉
