Kyocera DuraXV LTE with camera , KYOCERA & VERIZON ….

Warning: ( very important negative aspects of this phone):
I relied heavily on reviews about this phone… and I really need to let others know the truth about it. Readers need to know not to make the same mistake at purchasing an overpriced defective device that is NOTHING like it is advertised to be; and that there is no true support or help with this phone & company to fix and or replace it when there are problems, even when it is still brand new! Kyocera customer service was rude and unwilling to take any responsibility for having a defective phone and were very cold and callous. Kyocera DuraXE Battery Life

Retired so pickup a Kyocera DuraXE activated on Consumer Cellular. Ruggerd phone for fumble fingers and great carrier for the retired.

Issue - Battery life is terrible. Less then 10 hours, no talk and everything turned off except the phone itself. New battery, same thing. I have read everything I can but can find no answers that increase the battery life.

I must be missing something. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Longer text notification tone

The current text notification tones aren't near long enough. During the night, when we're on call, the current text notification tones aren't near long enough when we're asleep and the SCADA system (Wastewater Treatment Plant) calls us with a problem. The best thing would to be able to assign anything from media player to the text notification sounds. Ability to assign media player things to ring tones would be nice also. It would be equally as nice to increase the alarms from 5 to 10. Otherwise, the phone works good.

over in the "Kyocera Delivers Rugged DuraXE Flip Phone to AT&T" discussion:

Why?

It is a feature phone. Why does it need a quad core CPU and a gig of ram?
