Sony Ericsson T637

The T637's arrived in my store in San Antonio, TX today. Got about 10 I believe...so other stores should either have them or be getting them very shortly...

Hey I'm new to this site, but I just had a quick question for anyone out there that's had a chance to use the T637. How well does it sync with Microsoft Outlook on a PC, and how well does it sync with the Macintosh contact and calendar programs?

I'm liking it so far. Very slick design, bluetooth is awesome on my Powerbook.

Question though. I'm switching from Verizon, how long does the porting process usually take? It's been about a day or two now.

I am constantly hitting the Mmode button as it is the same as the hang up button. Can these be changed and or can the phone be flashed back to t a non ATT software???

I was able to order my At&T T637 tonight through customer service. (I don't know which is worse, waiting at their At&T stores for 2 hours or waiting on hold with customer service for 2 hours.)

At any rate they have them in stock and mine is on order and being shipped tomorrow.

AT&T list is $269, but they gave me $70 off for signing a 2 year commitment. Just wanted to let all the early adopters know.

The T637 is available today from Cingular. You can call them up and buy it for $249 list or $99 with a 2 year commitment.

Sony Customer Service says T-Mobile will be the only carrier to offer it (yeah right).

Att is saying they know nothing about the phone and do not know if they are going to carry it.

Does anyone know for sure if ATT will carry it and when?

Yes, the screen name is correct, I've never had a cell phone (I think I'm among 4 left in the US to not have one) and I've finally decided to pick one up.

I like this phone because it looks fairly unique and although flip phones are handy and small, I'd rather have the gee-whiz factor over the Mr. Businessman look.

Anyway, this phone is up there with my top two picks. I was thinking of picking up the T616 but my local AT&T rep showed me this bad boy and told me how many advantages over the 616 it had, mainly the brightness in the screen. Is it coming? For my zip code -the t616 has been removed from the Cinular site as an available phone for order. Check your area to see if it's gone there too. I'm calling Cingular today to try and order the new one.

Cool! Cheaper than EBay...

I just picked up my t637 in houston.. it is much better than my t616 (in my opinion).. screen is much more clear in the daylight, in-call volume seems to be louder - that was the biggest problem I found with the t616... and it doesn't smudge as badly... actully looks much better and it is easier to dial!

Anyway... hope you guys enjoy it. I like mine. I think someone was curious about personalized ring tones.. that still exists. The interface is actually identical to the t616!

This phone hits the stores on Monday June 7th. This is an improved version of T616, let's see how better it is, I'm undecided, I was going to get it, but I just noticed that it has a CIF camera, just like the T616, improved? They both have the same camera!!!

This phone lacks the 900MHz frequency, is it still a world phone? just a question I happen to have, since I plan to get this phone, and I plan to go to South America for X-mas.

I saw a dumby phone in my local retail store. I don't know if that means anything to any one. But, I will let you know it was almost advertised. Oh, I should metion it was cingular.

Nice phone i like this style much more futreistic looking and the black makes the phone look silky smooth 😁
