question kind of pertaining to the Koi

ok heres what im wondering:

i have a plan right now with verizon, i want to buy the new Kyocera Koi and activate a new plan under it so i can get the phone for cheap.. Now when i do that i want to give my current phone to my mom, but i want to switch the numbers so that i can have the new phone. Will verizon do this?? also, instead of paying for 2 diff plans, is there a way verizon can have me and my mom on a shared plan? thnx in advance

battery life

When I first got the phone I was having problems with battery life, but then I turned on the screen saver feature. It has helped dramatically and now the battery life is pretty impressive (i guess the giant lcd screen was draining the battery). Just some advice if your dealing with the same problem.....

Detailed Review of the Koi

Camera -
The Koi contains a 1.2 mega-pixel camera. The features include 6 resolutions and 3 quality settings. There are 9 Frames that can be used when taking photos. The phone also contains a flash, which will work only when your subject is within 12 inches of the lens and even then your photo will be dark and grainy. On all but the highest setting you can use the zoom feature and the phone also has a self timer and low light mode. When compared to the resolution of the Motorola V710 the Koi is the hands-down winner. One serious design flaw though is the placement of the lens. You have to be careful when holding the phone because I noticed my fingers kept getting in the way of the shot. The best way to use the camera is to keep the Koi in ...

Get this phone for $49.99

I've been checking out this phone for months now and after having seen it, have decided to get it.
The sales guy recommended the LG VX7000 over this one as it had the main screen on the inside of the phone, but this one looks much nicer and it is tri-mode which works out better for me.

If you sign up with a 2 year plan, it's $219.99 with a $70 MIR, so $149.99 after rebate. And if you've already been a Verizon customer for over two years (with a > $35 plan ), you're automatically enrolled in the 'Every Two' program. This will get you another $100 off.

THE PHONE IS $149.99 on VZN website

I just checked the verizon website using zip-code 07960. And the phone is listed at $219, but you get a $70 online discount that makes the phone only 149. So it won't be $350 like some people were saying.

I go to my VZW phone, not launching today!!

they said they are launching it tommorrow... although i got my hands on their demo phone, it seems alright, but my descion changed when i over heard one of the salesperson saying it was going to cost a whopping $349.00. again, i just overheard, that could be without a contract agreement, i dont know, i tried to ask but everyone was busy so just left... what about you guys. how much did they quote you guys??

SAW IT TODAY (AVAILABLE).

😳

I went and saw the phone today. Keep in mind I currently have a V60i. All I can say about this phone is holy cow, it's HUGE!!! Thought about putting this phone in your pocket? Think again! If you do, your friends will think you're a pervert. Plus if you were in the unlikely event able to squeeze this into your pocket, it would probably break due to the pressure exerted by your pants.

The swivel is cool, display is huge and resolution is great. Seems pretty well built, but the battery cover was flexing from the teather it was attached to at the store.

The phone is easy and intuitive to navigate. The huge color display certainly doesn't hurt. Made a few calls, sounds just like any other phone. I like the fact that th...

I FINALLY HAVE IT

After several calls I found a Verizon store in my area (Richmond, VA) that had it in stock today. Others said they would have it later in the week. Like someone else said, the Koi was $219.99 with a $70 MIR (2yr contract). It was well worth the wait. 😁

Just ordered one from the VZW website

Hi everyone. I just ordered the KX2 from Verizon's website (it's available now in the DC area). 😁 I paid $49.99 for the phone with NE2. The regular price with a two year contract is $219.99. Verizon is offering a $70 rebate for web orders, which brings the cost with a two year contact to $149.99.
