Phone will probably be between 299-349 with 2 yr, 349-399 1yr, and 399-499 full retail.
Just an educated guess, though. No one can really tell for sure because it will have the BEST camera ever released on a phone in the US, and EVDO on top of that. I would expect yet another flagship phone for $500. ~$80 more than v710..

Not a hoax (how would you fake the domain name anyway?). I avidly followed the anticipated release of the Audiovox 8900 last year. The manual was similarly available on Verizon's website a while (a month?) before the phone went on sale. I was told it was for training purposes for Verizon employees.

I just called up Verizon and they said the phone will be out b4 christmas. It was supposed to be out this month but there was a bit of a delay. So ppl this is not a hoax the phone is really coming out. You can even call verizon yourself. The retail price will be around $420.

If you don't believe you can call up Verizon urself and check it out. I spoke to 3 different reps and they all said the phone is ready to be released it should be out b4 Christmas. They need the phone to boost their sales for the Holiday Season.

I noticed that, too. However, that's a default user's manual for all LG phones, whether or not it has an analog mode. Just the title of the manual changes and some other items, as well. BTW, if you go to VX7000's manual, it has exactly the same screen icons and many other features, except for bluetooth and speakerphone, obviously. Again, VX8000 is all-digital.

I really am looking forward to the release of this phone and that flash site is amazing but one thing that I hope I am wrong about is that under "Using Get It Now" it says "Checking Memory" and then says there's only 6.28mb. I'm hoping that's just for GIN and not the whole phone. What do you guys think?

Boy, please, understand that that flash manual's purpose is to demonstrate people WHAT the phone does and HOW it does. It's not meant to teach you how good or how fast it does. Therefore, 6.28MB (or whatever) is ONLY used for demo.

im guessing that wont be it, cuz they usually set aside a certain amount of memory for certain areas of the phone, such as for your pictures. videos, and all that junk! just a thought!
