REFUND CHECKS!!!

Has anyone actually received their refund checks?

The form said that the refund will be sent out within 30 days of the receipt of phone. My phone was received by the Settlement Administrator way back in mid-April, but I haven't gotten anything back yet.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

How long did it take you guys to receive your settlement phone??

I ordered my phone from the website on Saturday May 6th and haven't received any sort of email confirmation, order reference, and my debit card hasn't been debited. Anyone know what the turn around is supposed to be? I sent an email to that address the told us to direct order questions to this morning but haven't heard back from them yet. My v710 decided to start giving me a white screen last week (surprise surprise), so I'm anxious to get my replacement phone.

Verizon store purchase?

So in re-reading the settlement letter, the 1) bullet point says "You must purchase your new phone and accessories at the special website created exclusively for memboers of this settlement who selected this option.." (I opted for the exchange and keep my service.) But when I go to the v710exchange webpage, at the bottom it says "Certain phones may only be available by visiting your nearest Verizon Wireless retail store. "

So can I do either? Has anyone purchased their new phone at a brick and mortar store rather than online? I like the idea of the 15-day exchange and that'd be much easier at a physical store.

Will this work?

My 2 year contract with Verizon ends on April 17. When I signed I purchased the V710 and some accessories. I will recieve $400 back from my v710 settlement. My plan is to mail my v710 back on May 29. Then on June 1st renew my contract get the $100 new every 2 year discount and purchase the Motorola Q or the LG v9800. My question is will my plan work, or must I purchase a phone from the settlement website?

Thanks
If it helps I picked option 2 on settlement.

Exchange without contract

Lets assume I have 2 months beofre NE2. Can I take my phone with $320 of receipts, swap it out for a new E815 (no contract) for $220 and buy $100 of accessories? Then wait two months on my original contract and get a NE2 credit against a cheap renewal at a discounted price (ie. $50 for an E815).

HELP! I purchased a phone from the website and I want to exchange but I do not know prices

Hello,
I purchased a phone from the exchange website and I want to exchange it. I brought the cheapest phone because I thought I was getting "the difference" returned to me instead of the "lesser of."
Does anyone know what the "NON CONTRACT PRICE" is of the razor and the e815 are? They are not helping me on the phone and I dont have an email address.

Again I would like the non contract price for the razor and e815. Thanks I APPRECIATE IT!!!

When is the latest you are waiting to buy the new phone?

So most of us are waiting for the Q to come out, but time is running out. The instructions say the phone needs to be in their hands by May 31st. So you need to leave time for your new phone to arrive and then the 2 days it takes to ship to Verizon.

I think I will have to order it tonight. Maybe the 815, since it's the only phone not crippled by Verizon's retarded 1990's menu system. I think I will also go no contract.

Then I'll try to replace it within two weeks with the Q, which I highly doubt they'll let me do. Has anyone tried to replace the phone they got through the v710exchange website? They will probably say they can't exchange it because they have no record of the transaction.

I really hate Verizon right now. Their policies,...

Settlement: LESSER OF????

I was shocked to read the settlment statement for option 3 that says that we will receive the LESSER of what we paid for the V710, ~$500 in my case, and the cost of the new phone purchased on the /v710exchange site. - $80 for an e815 and $130 for a V3c.

Am I reading this right???

Need help please!

Hi,

I sent my form in and got the settlement package back from verizon. I believe it has to be mailed back to them with the phone and reciept by may 13th which is in a few days.

My question is this: I already have the razr v3c and I am happy with it and dont need a new phone...what are my options for getting as much money back as possible. I think I paid around $200 or $300 for it orginally.

Thanks in advance. Please let me know asap because this needs to go out soon! thansk

Difference bewteen 2 year contract price and Upgrade price?

Is there a difference between the 2 year contract price and an Upgrade price? I'm due for an upgrade but I'm part of the V710 settlement and I'm looking to get a new phone. I went to the settlement page and looked at a couple of phones and I see they have either a 1 year or 2 year option. When I went to my local Verizon store the guy there asked me if the price on the web site was the 2 year contract price or the upgrade price. I had no clue there was a difference. Also does anybody that's part of the settlement have an email address that I can email them at? I see and address that I can mail them a question but who know's how long that would take for them to get back to me. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Opinion: What Are You Buying W/ Settlement

Well i finally got my papers, and after going to the website i am more confused than ever. I know im not going to get the Q like i wanted, as my date comes before its more than likely release. Im debating between;

1. V3C [the favorite]
2. A970 (splurging for the money)
3. VX8100
4. a950
5. 9800 (the V)
6. Treo 650

Help!

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO BUY WITH YOUR SETTLEMENT AND WHY?

Thanks!

Would this work ???

I have a v710, but I'm eligible for a NE2 credit beginning this week.

I chose the settlement option to trade in my v710 and keep Verizon service.
I don't want to use the exchange website and lose my NE2.

Can I use my NE2 to buy a phone this week, and then still use the exchange website to trade in my v710? Naturally - I would only be able to get a 2yr contract price on 1 of those phones... but at least I wouldn't lose any of my credits.

Another option....... can I buy the new replacement phone from the store directly, so I can get my NE2? I read something at the bottom of the exchange website that said "certain phones may only be available at the store"

Thanks,

Would that work?

Advise...

I have the Audiovox 9900 but recently I have started experiencing problems so Asurion is replacing it with a V710. First I was happy because it is an obvious upgrade (bluetooth, camera, etc), but then remembered the lawsuit and all the problems people were having with this phone.

Question is, what should I possibly expect and what is the info with why the lawsuit happened..... Thanks!!

Received replacement phone from website...huge question

Hello,
I just received the replacement phone I ordered from the v710exchange website and I have a question. I need some help. I opted to buy a phone without a contract. My question is this...once I activate the new phone will I be under contract? It sounds like a stupid question but the verbiage on the package is scaring me.
Also, as soon as I activate the phone the number will be ported over right? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Does the rebate get deducted from your v710 Settlement payment?

I think I got a rebate on the v710 (I can't remember).

My receipt shows the full price I paid (before rebate).

Do I have that full price available towards the purchase of a new phone - of are they going to deduct the rebate amount from my settlement credit (if I did in fact receive one)?

Do they have a list of who got the rebate?

Thanks.
