Dimensions

Did the FCC report for the V710 that is going around list the size and weight for it? I noticed that PhoneScoop doesn't have it listed and so I was wondering if anyone has seen these specs anywhere. Just curious to see how it matches up with other phones in size weight. Thanks for any info.

Anxiously awaiting...

I know we are all anxiously awaiting this phone. Now that we are starting to see that it is going to be a reality - does anyone have any concrete info on a release date? Seems like it should be fairly soon now. It also seems like they are not going to release the 810 now.
This phone is the best looking phone I have ever seen!! I hope it lives up to all we hope.

More Memory?

Is there a limit to the amount of memory that the v710 can access through the mini-sd slot? That is, if san-disk comes out with a 1GB mini-sd card, will the v710 support it? 😕

The A840 will be available for Verizon Wireless...it seems to have all the same features as the v710 with the trade off of bluetooth for GSM!...the phone will have Brew technology. I just got the phone

I just got a V710 has verizon logo on it,I think the phone will be launch soon. The phone is very nice, but the camera is not working too good . I think maybe the phone just a testing phone. I am still checking the bluetooth. So far so good, but I don't know what kind of the flash card to use for this phone. The memory card slot is very small! Is anyone know about it? đŸ¤Ŗ

Sprint T608 unlocked on Verizon

I've been using an unlocked SonyEricsson T608 for 2 months on Verizon with the Bluetooth setup in my BMW. It is truly amazing to get a phone call using the car's handsfree setup while the phone is on my belt.

I'm looking forward to the V710 and will get one as soon as it's out, but I'm not holding my breath--Verizon is sooooo slow to introduce new hardware. ☚ī¸ I've got 2 brand new backup T608s, both with unlock MSL codes, for activation on Verizon. If you want infon on how to activate the T608 on Verizon, let me know. I might also be convinced to sell one of my backup phones. 😎

Price??

Does anyone have any idea on what the base price for this phone is going to be?

And are there any clues on whether or not they will do the same crappy sort of a data plan as Sprint did with the T608? The thing with a 3 MB download limit?

This will be my reason for cancelling my Sprint contract. I want this phone so bad. 😁

Info on V710

Hey guys, I have been viewing this site for about 4 months and have just now created an account. My contract runs up in June for Verizon and I am hoping I can survive with my motorola V120 until then. Anyway I too am skeptical about when someone says they talked to a rep and said this or that phone will be out a certain time. So ive been going around asking numerous reps myself face to face about this info and yes alot of them know just as much as us or even less. However, last night at the mall I talked to a verizon rep who goes to my church and ask him about the V710. He said he recently just talked to a motorola rep and asked him the same question and the motorola guy said it would be avalible in JUNE. Now I know everybody has similiar po...

Acura TL & Bluetooth - Verizon on the Horizon?

Please alllow me to vent:

😁 Exactly how long has Verizon had their head up... never mind, that's rhetorical. Technology just seems to pass them by. Isn't there a law about talking on your cell phone while you drive and... wait, I did it again.

Toyota, and Acura have incorporated Bluetooth into their vehicles so we can use hands-free and voice dialing all via Bluetooth. Verizon is just now waking up. Man that @#$$& me off.

I have heard, and can some one confirm this, that Bluetooth "turns off??" in this phone after a period of time?
Once a phone is "paired" to the vehicle, in my case the Acura TL, is this phone going to function and interface with the TL's hands free link? Does anyone know about this?
Acura has an Amazing websit...

Great Phone....But

The V710 has some great features. However, in my business a camera phone is outlawed. Is there any chance of getting a bluetooth capable phone without the camera?

Some guys have all the luck

At least you guys are getting a cool phone. US Cellular, a great little company is, as far as I know, not getting this phone. Verizon does cover my area so I'm ____ out of luck. So before you get too upset remember the poor saps who won't even have this phone available.
