I dont give a **** who has the real answer, maybe Aldcon BUT which video phone (670,7000,v710,9900) is coming out first and WHEN??????? Nothing else at this point even remotely matters, so all this BS quibbling about price,features,bluetooth,driving mode etc etc is useless banter. Whats coming out first and when??????????????????

Looking at all the current photos it seems like it will not be able to display pictures on its external display like the VX8000 even though they both have picture ID.Is this true? ☹️

The Nokia 6600 has been released by T-Mobile. And it's selling for $400 bucks. So I can imagine the V710 costing about the same or more. And the Nokia 6600 doesn't really match up to the Mighty-Moto-710 in looks.

Just stop it already. As a pissed off VZW cust and RadioShack employee with a cdm 9500 that's taken a beating, I'm just fed up with all this @#$! smack people keep spewing about when a phone comes out especially when they claim they are the ceo's cousin's friend or insider rep with all the info, when really they dont know jack $%@! about release dates. Just let us wait for the damn phones that are gonna cost 500+ because Verizon knows we'll pay it just to get a more tech advanced phone.

VZW is basically giving away all thier motorolas for 30-40 bucks. I would have to assume they are just trying to get rid of surplus inventory to make room for new Motorolas rolling out. So let's keep our fingers crossed

Hey I just did a search on Moto website.. and found two links that talked about the V710 release... the web site states it will be released in the late 1st half of 2004... This means sometime in June..... I just thought I'd share this info... if you want a link to the press release

Is there anyone who is ACTUALLY a Verizon Wireless employee, or someone who knows what they're talking about, tell me when VZW is going to release this phone and if it will be before the v810 and 9900????

Does anyone know if the phone and related PC software allow PIM synchronization using the Bluetooth instead of a USB/Serial cable?

Does anyone know that the bluetooth earpiece for the other phones ..since this phone has bluetooth will it work on something like this without using the base piece you have to plug into the port to make a bluetooth operation !!!

Sounds confusing but hopefully someone will get what I am tryng to ask...

If you can rally print the pictures, my interest would increase a lot.

As I posted on the Audiovox Forum... A Verizon rep that I "personally know" usually attends a training on upcoming phones (Train-the-Trainer). In the past when he was choosing to represent the store, the phone in reference is released a week or two later. His next train-the-trainer session is in late May. So if everything holds, we should be seeing a new phone in June. The exact model is not disclosed until the meeting. On the memo (according to the Verizon rep) there is something about new wireless technology. He thinks it will be a new Blackberry from rumors “he” heard. I think it's the Moto V710. I have almost bought the V600 on AT&T, I looked at the 300 on T-mobile, I watched the 400 on Cingular, but something is giving me the strength to wait for the 710. I bought a Bluetooth Pda in anticipation of the release. Boy I can't wait for this phone!!! There was a solid date this summer, then all talk about this phone turned to rumor phase....Pushbacks due to Bluetooth, has to be out by July due to the Motorola July 10 promotion, now it's April release date. My money is still on the June date, and if Verizon plays its cards right, they will start slinging some now phones at the marketplace at a nice easy pace. I think that Verizon is taking it easy to make sure they have enough ammo left when the AT&T, Cingular merger happens. ...

🙂 Hey all....just wanted to let u know that i got info from the inside that the V710 is due out closer to the end of april, but could be out as close as next week. I work for Verizon wireless, so that should give u some assurance.

I know it seems pretty pointless with a color screen, but does anyone know if the V710 is going to have situational lighting like the V600?

As I said, it seems pretty pointless with the external color screen, but I still think it was a nice feature.

Upon first hearing about the 710 and 810 - I just assumed I'd get the 810 when it came out (figured later model would indicate more features). After reading many of the posts - it seems to me that:

- The v710 is a better phone (ie: Bluetooth, expansion card, MP3, Speakerphone, self interpreting voice-dial).

- The v710 will most likely come out before he v810 (even though it seems the v810 was supposed to be out long before the v710)

1. Am I correct that the v710 is a better phone and has many features the v810 doesn't have? Is there any reason to get the v810 over he v710? (the specs list "USB" next to the v810, but not with the v710)

2. Am I also correct that the v710 should get to market first?
