RF compaired to V400

Is the ability of the V220 to make and receive calls about the same as the V400...or is it like the 720?

Pardon me as I've been under a rock, but where are these "fun lights" the review speaks of?

Phone shuts off if NO service??

Has anyone experience this? When my v220 phone can't find a signal, the phone's display shuts off. Even when I'm not trying to make a call, just trying to take a picture or set the alarm. Is there a setting that I have to set in order for this not to happen?

T720/T721/T722/T725

This phone looks like an upgraded version of the T720 series phones by Motorola.

Deleting The Pictures Already On The Phone

I like pictures of fences, and the sea and pebbles as much as the next guy, but all these pictures are taking up a sizeable chunk of my memory; memory which i could be putting to better use. Is there any way for me to delete all these pictures?

V220 PC Interface

What interface SW do I need to communicate with the V220? Can photos be downloaded via the cable? The phone provider sold me Motorola kit 98478J but the SW won't talk to the phone. The USB cable fits but that's as far as I can get.

Finding Accessories? Changing to bluetooth?

I am having a terrible time finding accessories for my phone. Any suggestions? I the charger portion compatable with another model? What about the usb/data port? I have read about some type of connector that can change non-Bluetooth phones to Bluetooth. Do you know if this works on the v220?

Thank you in advance for your help!

V600 owners know read further

As mentioned in my thread on the V180 that black bezel is a nightmare waiting to happen to all that purchase this phone.

The V600 is notorious for that black bezel to crack and chip where the flip attaches to the body of the phone (pressure point). Moto's had a crap load to repair and replace b/c of it.

As an owner of a V600 (my 1st Moto in 12 years and last one) I beg you all to stay clear!!!! YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT YOU"LL BE GETTING INTO.

damn it motorola get it straight.......

The V220 looks like a nice entry level camera flip, but damn it Moto, what is up with the 128x128 screen? Every industry has its standards, and they increase through the years. This phone should have a 128x160 screen. This is the standard now. I had the same comment for the V180. Damn it Moto, are you living in 2004 or 2002.

Here's an example: In 2004, EVERY car is equipped with dual front airbags and some offer side airbags. Imagine how silly it would be if car manufacturers, all of a sudden, offered only driver's side airbags for the 2005 season.

This is what Moto and, may I add, Nokia are doing. Now, some of you might say that 128x160 screens are more expensive, but a large number of manufacturers use 128x160 s...

No logic:(

What's the matter with MOTOROLA???

Take a look at this production pattern:

V300 - V400 - V500/V525 - V600 - V810 - V180 - V220 ????????? 😕

Can anyone explain this to me, please? Telling the truth, I don't get it. 🙄

Anyway, all of those phone models are holy crap. 😈

Will Verizon Support this Phone?

A Verizon tech rep said that Verizon stores in New England might be getting this phone soon. He also said that this phone would be able to switch from GSM to CDMA. Has anyone heard this same info? I am keeping my fingers crossed that Verizon comes out with a bluetooth phone. Thanks!

If They Announce, They Must Deliver!

Motoroal may just as well announce a super computer handset with space-based communications features we've never even dreamed about--because they most likely won't deliver it or it will be years late into the US market.
