A New Entrant In Wifi-First Wireless Service

When I saw that Cablevision was entering the mobile market with a wifi-first offer, and quickly looked over the service offering, I was impressed. Reading further, I became less so. Looks like this will launch in NYC area only, and there's just one Motorola handset available at launch. We'll need to wait and see what this evolves into over time.

Difference between 1st and 2nd Generation Moto G

I don't really see any compelling reason to upgrade to a 2nd gen Moto G. CPU is pretty much the same, 3MP more on main camera isn't compelling enough, Storage space is the same and the only thing that I could appreciate more is the ability to use a SD Card.

If Lenovo continues the the Moto X and G line I hope the next version has more features to compel me to upgrade. If not. Then I don't know what to say.

Moto G 1st Gen

So, the 1st Gen Moto G will have to wait to get the update?

Good deal!

I am considering Consumer Cellular. The new Moto G for $30 off is pretty good. It will be carrier locked for 4 months I think. Was going to get the Huawei Ascend Mate 2,but now Huawei says no KitKat 😢

Stop making phones bigger, you jerks!

Seriously, they just keep getting bigger, you can't operate them with one hand or fit them in pockets.

2nd Gen

Still no LTE but added Micro SD and bigger screen. OK, but the Micro SD on the 3G 1st gen would have been smarter and leave off the bigger screen. Think people, think!!!!!!!!

Can you access the SD card with 3rd-party file managers?

Access, and of course modify/delete?
