Nokia 6620

Typing memos and to-dos is not easy. How do you guys do?

My clock on my phone is accurate, and always has been.

It seems random, but sometimes when I get missed calls, the time is way off. Most of the time, the call time is some point later in that day, which hasn't even been reached yet!

Has anyone else experienced this or any ideas how I could debug/solve this problem?

I just got the Nokia 6620...

In the default screen, the left and right keys open camera and internet respectively. How can I change what these do? I can't find it in the manual, and I tend to keep getting on the internet by mistake! ☹️

How can I get my nokia 6620 to play different video formats because I can't to play AVI or WMV files. I need help

I just got a 6620. I linked it to my bluetooth car kit and my moto hands free.

See the problem is when I press any button like say the menu button the bluetooth car kit mutes my stero. With all my other phones it has muted it when I press send, or when the call connets. This is really annoying as when I want to reply to a text meesage it mutes my car stero and I hear the key presses over my speakers. =(

Can someon shed some light on how to corret this please?

I have a Nokia 6620 with the media works pkg. What is cingular express i.e. browser or access point name. How does this application affect my media net works?

So I just bought this thing the other day and I did loose a few calls,.. the audio keeps bugging on it nad the speaker is not loud and located on the back. Does anybody else find the audio and reception to be a problem. It's nice that it does everything but making phone calls is still most important.

Does anybody know how the call performance stacks up to the RAZR? I just want the best phone in the world ,.. is that too much to ask....

any experience with a sync with time matters? that programs syncs with palm and outlook. also
land rover autos, any luck with the phone?

How do I get the images I take on the phone onto my computer? Do I need a cable or can I do it via bluetooth?

Where can I find free games for 6620 ?

Hi, i was wondering if there is a size limit to the mp3 ringtones that can be used on the 6620. I have created some 20 second or so ringers using iTunes to convert small segments of my music files to mp3 then used Nokias PC suite to bluetooth them over to the phone. When i try to set one as a ringer it says it cannot do it b/c file format is not accepted. I am not sure why this is telling me that the file format is not accepted b/c im sure that the music tones through cingular are in mp3 format. The size of my ringers are around 100-300kb.

I wonder if anyone found a way to change the default programs on Nokia 6600/6620. For instance, if while browsing files I choose "send by e-mail" it will open the default built-in e-mail program, and I cannot find a way to set up up so it opens ProfiMail (unless, of course, I'm browsing in ProfiExplorer). Or the MultiFunction Button on Motorola Bluetooth headset opens built-in voice recognition program, but how is there way to set it up to open VioceDial or any other programs. Thanks!

So like half the world I'm stuck deciding between the 6620 and 6230. My biggest concern is when I upgrade to one of these phones will I get better reception and less dropped calls?

I moved to Arizona from Wisconsin and don't EVER remember having as many dropped calls as I do here. I'm with Cingular so I wouldn't be switching carriers, but will be upgrading from a Nokia 3100 to the 6620 or 6230. So does anyone know if I can expect a signification change and if one of the two going is to be better/worse? Please HELP!!!!

Anyone have a recomendation for me on the few stereo headsets that they have. The difference in price isnt much, just $10, but i was wondering if the fashion line or the regular active line would be better for listening. I just bought this phone a little over a week ago and wow its great. Just need to get the goodies to go along with it now.

can someone help me with setting this up. I have the emulator file in .zip format but the phone won't open it. pulled the .jar file out of the unzip but that dosn't work either. Does the 6620 run the .sis files through another application?

how do you get nintendo games to run on the phone?

Anyone sucsessful trying to log on to www.hotmail.com through this application. I have been able to access every web page i've entered except this one. Is it possible that Cingular is blocking it?

I just bought this Nokia 6620 Toy. I am thinking of using it as an MP3 player as well. For that I am thinking of inserting a 1GB MMC Card. Few questions:

1) Can this phone take a 1GB MMC card and address all the memory. Has anyone tried this?

2) How is the experience using this phone as an MP3 player. Does the MMC card provide non-jerky transmission of data to play songs.

3) The manual says that you can not substitute an SD card instead of an MMC. My research on SD/MMC shows that they are mostly interchangeable. Does anyone has any experience trying out an SD card instead of an MMC?

anyone have any useful applications they want to post, or where i can find some. i have old nintendo games (about 500 of them) on my phone, and also gameboy games. what other applications are there? (doesn't have to be games).

I've been reading these forum's and have noticed that people have received a CD Rom, and a USB cable when they purchased their Nokia 6620. I just purchased mine on Sunday, 2-20-05 and did not get these with my purchase! I called Cingular and they said to contact the Cingular store that I purchased my phone from, then called the Cingular store and they acted like I was crazy! Like it was absurd that I even suggest that the phone would come with these extras!

Anyone else have this sort of problem? What should I do? This was an expensive phone! I'm a little P.O.'d!
