LG VX-3200

What is is with Verizon offering otherwise excellent tri mode phones with no external display? I currently have the Samsung sch a650. I am pleased with the phone for so many reasons, among them, it is tri mode. Is verizon trying to steer its customers away from tri mode? I know they will be all digital by 2006, but come on. Let's have a really good tri mode phone with an external display. Is that too much to ask for?

Hey guys, so do any of you people know where i can download the games, wallaperps, ringtones for free??? i heard there was games on this cellphone...but it didnt come with mine!

When I purchased this phone it said it was ringtone download capable...but I can't find anywhere, even on my verizon website, anything compatible with this model. Am I just not looking in the right place? All Verizon offers is to three other LG models.

Anybody heard that VZW will release this as a Pain-As-You-Go phone? I got a rebate pad at one of my other stores today. I'm guessing they'll deactivate the GIN software like they did with the KX414 ;)

I just got my new phone yesterday and I would like to keep it on vibrate while I am at work, but there is no option for just vibrate on it. There vibrate and high, but I just need vibrate. Anyone know how to do that???

Just picked up a VX3200 four days ago. Phone worked great, very happy with the analog mode as I live in an area with spotty digital coverage. Love the color screen, voice dialing, etc. BUT as the battery got down to about half charge I tried to charge it and it would only charge for about 5 minutes before it said that the battery was charged completely, yet the indicator still only showed half charge. 😕 Kept trying and getting same result. VZW tech support was totally useless, the guy told me that the battery had a memory and needed to be completely dis-charged...HELLO...its Lithium Ion idiot!!! 😡 Eventually it did get down to zero charge and will not take a charge...dont know if its the battery or the phone but the whole mess is going ba...

Hey, all you LG VX3200 owners out there! Can someone please tell me if the speaker phone can be used with the phone closed or does the phone need to remain open in order to use the speaker phone?

I want a speaker phone and I was considering the Motorola V60s, it has a GREAT speaker phone but from what I've read, that's the only good thing about it...it's a terrible phone that has reached the end of it's time...R.I.P. A moment of silence...OK! back to my question. Anyone?

When is the future dial usb cable coming for this phone? 🙂

Our store received the LG-VX 3200 dummy phones in today. Release date is set for May 7th.

Its true, I was informed that this phone will in fact be the next release on May 7. Im surprised that LG made this phone with no front display...-kinda odd huh. Seems like a solid tri-mode phone though, it will probably take the place of the 4400 series.

Please, anyone who can help me... I need this phone asap... If there is anyone who can help you will be well compensated... I need this phone Dummy or active As soon as possible...

🙄 This phone launches for VZW May 7th

This phone looks hot, size is perfect, shape is also, SPEAKER WOW. But no Outer caller ID, noone likes to keep flipping phone open. I had the A610 is cool for a week but it became a Hassle!!!! Right now i have the Slider SE47 phone for verizon. Best phone ive ever had...better than A610, vx6000 , cdm8900, Destroys them all!!!!

I had a chance to have a look at the 3200. A rep from LG came to my store and let me use the phone for a day and I must say I'm impressed. The menu system of the phone mirrors that of the 4400 4500 and 6000 phones. I tried the 2 way speaker phone and it was very clear like the 4500 phone. It dosent have an external caller ID screen but for someone looking for an entry level phone w/o bells and whistles its perfect. The LCD also reminded me of the 4500. It has most of the same screen options and even though I didnt have a chance to go through the entire menu it looked like most of the basic features are the same. I also liked the fact that it has a blue outer casing which is a nice chang from the standard silver and tan casings on the previou...

3200- upgrade to 3100, color screen, get it now
4600- upgrade to 4400, OLED outer screen
6100- upgrade to 6000, flash and full color outer display
7000- video recording, swivel camera
8000- megapixel camera, video recording, 1x EV-Do, MP3 playback, stereo sound, downloadable video, memory card slot

I have confirmation from my Verizon rep about the upcoming availability of the 3200 and 4600. They will be here in April. The 7000 should be out by July, and the 8000 by Christmas. I do not know if it is for VZW, but am guessing,--CDMA, and LG is rather big with them nowadays. Only other alternative is US Cellular, and Sprint. Sprint, I have not seen many LG's with them, and US Cellular, I truly do not know much about.
