I know it's still early but I just needed to check. lol. I'm hoping someone comes in here with good news soon. Otherwise I'm gonna go buy the Samsung p777 this week.

Does anyone know if there is a website where I can download good applications for my A630?? I am thinking of returning this expensive ass phone if I cannot download good applications. Please help me find some.

I'm sick of the waiting and still not getting any straight answers. So I gave in and bought the treo 650. It will replace both my old phone and PDA. Will be getting it tomorrow and I'm sure I'll be very happy with it.

any know were i can get the unlock code for the A630?

The internal screen of the a630 is 220w x 176h. If I took a picture and sent it to my friend's v551 (which has a screen with the same dimensions, but rotated 90 degrees- 220h x 176w), how would it look? Would the v551 crop it left-to-right and have blank spaces above and below it? And what about the opposite situation- if he takes a photo on the v551 and sends it to an a630?

Regarding your concern, unfortunately we do not have the availability date for the A630 for Cingular. Please note that when cellular products launch, the timelines are often defined by agreement between Motorola and the phone carrier who will be selling the product on our behalf. Because of this, the dates that we are given are not always specific.

You may purchase an unlock version of this model and activate it with Cingular but you should contact your carrier first to make ...

Sorry Guys Cingular will not be carring the a630. I work for Cingular and emailed the person who orders the phones for the whole entire SE region. She said that it came down from the top brass that we will not carry the a630. It seems like they dont want to make any money. I heard that it was they wanted to see how the LG F9100 did. well it did not do very well.

Anyone that has this phone... is there an email notification on this phone? I was told that periodically (every 30 minutes or so), you'd be notified of any new emails that you've received. Is this so?

Can you recieve e-mail attachments? like if somebody sent a picture to your e-mail could u veiw it on this phone and save it to it. the low memory bugs me but as long as it has this feature i'll be cool with it. also isn't there a web browser program that allows u to view the actual website for java wap browser phones like this one? or do's it already support that?

Do's anybody know when this phone will be released for cingular and how much it will be, right now i just recieved the motorola v220 and i bought it online so i have a 30day back gurantee, so if this phone comes out soon enough i will just return this phone and still get the 2yr contract price of the A630, it looks like a good phone and i text alot.

This phone looks like i will be able to have a lot of fun but a couple of questions.. how fast do's it receive aol messages and e-mail? and if u had a animated picture as your wallpaper(not screensavor) do's it animate in the background? how much can you customize on this phone like e-mail tone and stuff like that?

I just got to work this morning and I chked the stock sheets.....Showing them actually in stock and more to be received on 03/21/2005.... 🤣 😁 But I don't know when it will actually be avialable for purchase.....should be soon now.

Has anyone used this device with a bluetooth enabled PDA (which one) to access the internet? If so, what speeds are you getting and what do you have to purchase from T-Mobile (t-zones?).

Now I'm not expecting a great picture with this phone. Especially since it has no flash. It very likely sucks at night but how about under clear blue skies? However just how bad (or good) is it? Anywhere that I can see sample pics?

Well I'm giving Cingular till spring to get this baby! Until then, I was wondering if this phone has a built-in app for taking notes? With the QWERTY keyboard and all, this would be very useful since I'm a big "jotter of ideas". Also, what kind on ringers does this baby use? Can I play qcp or mp3 ringers? That's the thing I miss most about being with Spring and my old Sanyo's. I'd use to have all my favorite Rat Pack tunes cued up when someone called. Any info would kick @$$!!!

Ok, I'll be recieving my a630 soon (within the next month or so) from Motorola's allpromoto incentive. The good things are a. I don't have to pay, b. it'll work with my Cingular service, and c. I have yet to see ANYONE in my area with this phone (no t-mo here).

The bad thing is that I can't seem to find a holster ANYWHERE. All I've seen so far is pouch style EVA and leather cases. I HATE the look of leather and pouch style cases on my phone. A holster lets me have easy access to my phone without sacrificing the look of the actual device. Has anyone been able to locate a holster for this device? If so can ya point me in the right direction?

DAMN I wish moto still sent out holsters in the phone box!

Hi all. I used to have a Sony T610 and I got most of my games from Mobile9.com. I just got the Motorola A630 and I'm having a hard time finding games. Does anyone know where to purchase games or where I can find free ones?

I've noticed that if you assign a picture to a phonebook entry and then try to scroll to that entry on the external display, the phone bugs out and backs up to the main menu screen. You can scroll through your phonebook just fine until you hit an entry with a picture assigned to it.

Has anyone else noticed this?
