Sanyo SCP-5500 / VM-4500

i call tech support i spend 1 hour. after 1 hour in the phone the guy tell me, i can't do nothing for you today, call tomorrow o give more time to the network, i start with these problem 3 days ago, i call today and the guy from the sprint tech support tell me no worry the service is free for 2 months. please i need more help whith these problem some vary else have problems with the new sanyo 5500

Does any one know where one could get the right extended battery for the sanyo VM4500/5500 that matches the color of the phone?

Ive had the 5500 for about a week now. Ive had several calls go straight to my voice mail without ever ringing. Has anyone else had this problem?

I won't believe that any color other than blue exists of the new VM 4500 until it is finally revealed!!

Tonight, I worked on the truck at Best buy in MD, and i PHYSICALLY saw the Sanyo 5500 come in. I will be getting mine's tomorrow!

I need to find a good holster for this phone, I tried the one that Sprint sells, and I don't like it, it doesn't cover the camera lens and seem a little cheap and not that secure. The holster also fits the RL2500, but I won't recommend it for the VM4500. I tried looking everywhere on the web, and even the link here at phone scoop, there no holster available for this phone as of yet. I'm looking for a non-leather, swivel, and one that could easily be detach. I'm sure everyone knows how those universal kits looks like, where you have to paste these prong on the back of the phone. Well I don't want to ruin my phone and plus I want sometime more secure. I'm trying to find something that locks into the pits of the phone like a ho...

I have been a Sprint Customer for about 7 months now. I got Sprint through my work. For any of you who have Sprint through their work and get a nationwide volume base discount, you can get the 5500 and the $150.00 rebate. You will have to pay full price for the phone up front but then you get a credit of $150.00 on your account. Also if you have any shared lines they told me that if you sign a new 2 year contract you can get the rebate also on your shared lines. Good thing I didn't buy the phone when it first came out or I would be out $150. I am going to want to test out the ready link so anyone who is willing please respond this thread. Does anyone know when the rebate will apply for this phone?? On the site its not available even though it is listed on their rebate form that you can get from the PCS store...

Ok got the new phone and it's awsome, one question, does anyone use matrixm.com for ringtones and screensavers? They don't have the 5500 listed yet, does anyone know a way to get around that?

So far, I've toyed with this phone but don't yet own one. From what I noticed it's pretty good in all aspects, EXCEPT that photos taken with the camera seem to have a yellowish color to them. Also, the vibrate mode wasn't acting properly on the one I was playing with.

At the minute I am using the SCP-5300 which I still label as the best phone from sprint until I actually have more time with a SCP-5500.

okay now does anybody know the difference between the two of these models? i've noticed all the messages as referring to the scp5500.
some messages also say that sprintpcs.com has the 5500. i looked and they only have the vm4500.

whats the difference?
