what the hell?

Did anyone go to Tmobile.com? The slider is now available but it doesn't say anything about video recording capabilities. I've been waiting for months for this phone, all while under the assumption that it could record video clips. I guess I'll have to wait for the p735. Is anyone as pissed as I am about this? 👿

Samsung Rocks~!!!

It's awesome phone~!

I always wanted slider, but there aren't

Does anybody know the exact date for this

question about features

i'm assuming this phone will support hifi ringtones. if so, will they be the same as the 715 cuz my friend has the 715 and i have a v300 and my hifi's sound better and play longer. i know the phone comes out on the 26th but i'm just curious and really anxious to get this phone.

Release Info

I was at a T-Mobile store in Michigan this weekend and they have already started receiving accessories for the D415. The phone should be coming in the next two weeks.

America=Last to get everything

I think this only shows that america is the last to get anything that has to do with phones (samsung in particular). While many people, including myself, have been drooling over the arrical of the SGH-D415/410 Samsung showed off their new SGH-E800 in CeBit Germany. Which may I say is smaller and lighter and has a camera with flash. Plus this phone doens't have a lil stubb of an antenna.

It uses GSM 900/1800 (Dual of course) so this just sucks. Release date set for Europe, China, and S.E. Asia. But ohhh great what a surprise...nothing for USA. 😢

who's waiting for this phone???

whats up everyone

just wanted to give you some inside info from the wireless industry. in the US, you can expect this phone to probably be a t-mobile (maybe cingular) exclusive. i know that t-mobile is currently testing the phone but there have been a few setbacks. due to some past phones that t-mobile released which were absolute crap (i.e. motorola c332, v70), they now have a very extensive 3-month minimum beta testing process. history has also shown us that "slider type" phones usually equal huge problems, such as the samsung and nokia matrix phones. kyocera and siemens do have successful slider phones, so hopefully samsung will produce a winner this time. my personal guesses about this device: expect this phone to hit the retai...

Where oh where did the Samsung P705 go?

I was excited about that stint in NYC where Samsung announced their new TV phone. At this point, I'm wondering, where is our new little baby? 🙄 I would assume that this event would be a great time to showcase this handset.

I must say, I'm worried that some fatal flaw has drug Samsung into bitter silence about the project as a whole.

Maybe we're just not ready to allow such a feature in current handsets?
