Samsung SGH-D415 / SGH-D410

I was checking out this phone at the tmobile store today and the slider feels slightly spring loaded. Has anyone had any problems with this sliding feature as far as reliability? I'm afraid of paying several hundred for a phone thats gonna break after 6 months of mid to heavy usage.

Another question was if you have to lock the keypad or if it automatically locks when you slide the phone closed? If the phone is closed and the call button is bumped a couple of times while in my pocket will it make an unexpected call?

Does anybody else's T-Mobile D415 have the zoom feature on the camera turned off? When I press the right key nothing happens. The magnifying glass icon and the right arrow are both grayed out. It seems T-Mobile has turned the zoom feature off for some reason. It works fine on the video just not the still camera. Any help??

Any websites? or possibly free real tones and song clips for ringers? etc etc..

There is a website called www.matrixm.com and it has a lot of cool animated pictures that I like. But since Verizon Wireless is not on the list of mobile operator, so I cannot purchase and download those cool animated pics to my phone.

does anyone know when t-mobile will support game downloads for the samsung d415? or someway i can download games to this phone.

as cool as this phone is it should of had bluetooth. many people really hate slider phones. this is the best one compared to the siemens and the kyocera but if this phone introduced bluetooth for the samsung line, this phone would have much stronger sales and help samsung bury sony ericsson into the ground.

circuitcity store's prices are better than tmobile store. they have nokia 6600 video phone but not samsung d415. they do not know when they gonna have d415. i do not like online store. it take a lot of time when a phone has a problem.
anybody know when they gonna have?

i just recieved the motorola v600 in the mail today, bought it thursday, but have really decided that i like the samsung d415 slider better. is there any way that anyone know3s of that i could return my moto and buy the samsung instead?

the d410 is simply remarkable in funcionality, quality and style. i just got mine off www.xalient.com , and i think its a useful and powerful tool. so far its the best phone I've ever used

when the phone is slide is down. is there a way you can press any key and the backlight will turn on? I hate to see the black screen all the time. I need to slide the phone up to see it.

I finally got the slider phone for T-Mobile!! I have been waiting for it fot the longest!! It's a GREAT phone especially for the price I paid!! Wich is $299.99. It's sooo cool! It has video up to 10 sec. and you could zoom in will you take the video! And on the picture you can zoom in too! The slide part is so great! And the color of the phone is amazing! The ring part of the phone is loud and clear for you ringtones! Earpiece is really good you can hear the person talk clearly! The phone also take great pics the quality is the best. In other words is one of the most advance phones out there! It's worth the money! It doesn't match up to the v600 by motorola.

Hi! I need HELP! with the E-mail client feature on the Samsung Slider Phone. I want to know if you really can recieve & send E-mail. Like you would normally would on a computer with reciveing and sending picture attachments etc.. And also how do I set it up with my AOL acct. on the phone. Because it says it supports POP 3 mail (wich is like aol,msn,ect...)

I have a question about one of the feautres
of the Samsung 415 phone. It's about the E-mail feature. In the manuel it says you can get e-mail sent striaght to the phone as if you were on the comp. Like with attachments etc... And I try to set it up but I don't know what everything means like Incoming server & user id & passwrd etc! Help Me Please!!!
