Need help with answering call waiting.

I just got this phone today but am having trouble managing the incoming call waiting phone calls.
Every phone I had till now let you answer the secong call and the screen displayed both calls and allowed you to switch from one to the other as well as conference.
I cant seem to do any of the above. as soon as I answer the secong call I dont see any further options.

Is it possible to have MP3 ringtones for the SE47 Slider? If so, could someone please give me an idea as where to get them or what software I need in order to use them? I hateee polyphonic ringtones. 😕

Ok, questions

😁 Ok, hi i just joined because i am looking around for info on the Kyocera Slider SE47, I am going to get one on June second and would like some thing to be cleared up and hoped you all could help. I have seen many things about ringtones for many phones, some you need a cable so you connect to a site through your phone. I was wondering if the only way to get new ringtones is to buy the 50$ cable to plug it into your computer. Or can this phone connect to sites and get ringtones that way, because i have heard many different things and I am getting confused even before i own the phone, so i hope someone can answer this for me. Thanks, you can e-mail me at: solidshot27@hotmail.com with any answers or comments about this phone. Thanks agian.

uploading ringers to SE47

Has anyone been able to upload ringers or sounds to their SE47? If so, how did you do it?

DO you need a data cable, or can it be done over the air?

Which slider is the best...opinions?

I really like the slider, but recently I talked a salesman and he said that he has had alot of complaints about signal and phone service. He said that the slider doesn't have analog so it is hard to pick up service when you are outside a larger town where you would have digital service. Does anybody have problems with this?

Thanks

Help with Multimedia Messaging and getting photos to phone.

I've had my SE47 for almost two weeks now and have been unable to figure out how to either message or e.mail photos, or ringers for that matter, to this phone so they can be downloaded and used as wallpaper, etc... I've tried e.mailing from my computer, sending photos from another phone to this one and nothing ever comes through with the message other than brackets with the title of the image that was attached from the other end. My service is with Verizon and I can't figure out how to make this work. I downloaded Pictavision and was able to get a few images from them but once I unsubscribed to this one and only service available, all the photos I downloaded were removed along with the application. In the short, is there any way for me to ge...

picture caller id

I have the slider, downloaded pictavision, and now can only use my pix for wallpaper or screensaver. If i try to use as pix for caller id, the pix are "locked". Anyone have this problem, and know how to fix it.

20 Seconds to start up? Is this normal?

I just got the SE47 from Verizon, and overall I like it a lot. Great speakerphone, voice dial features, and form factor. One glaring, annoying problem though: it takes 20 seconds to "boot up". Compared to my Audiovox 9150, which at 5 seconds seemed slow, this is glacial.

I wouldn't care if I left my phone on all the time, but I only turn it on when I need to make a call, then it's back in my laptop bag.

Is this typical of all newer phones? If so, I'll learn to live with it, but if there are other models out there with similar features that start quicker, I'll be in the market for one of those.

Thanks,

imkdd
