Can I buy a v810 to use on Verizon?

I want a phone just like the v810: very small, camera, and speakerphone. The only phone I've seen so far that fits that is the v810. If i buy an unlocked US Cellular Motorola v810 will I be able to use it with Verizon?

Anyone have any other phone ideas that would fit my criteria?

V810? NO V810

😢 Sorry guys. This is what I got today.
"it failed in testing and with the launch of the MOT 710, it was not needed."

Take it for what is worth.

HELP? on questions about activating with Verizon

Assuming the V810 definitely is not coming from Verizon (which I am, at this point) ... if I want to purchase a US Cellular V810 to activate on Verizon, ...

Is there a difference between a version I would purchase from USC and one I would purchase directly from Motorola?

Can both be activated by Verizon? And how easy is that process?

What can a non-Verizon software V810 NOT do if activated on Verizon? Other than Web and GPS, can it do most everything else? such as voicemail? text and picture messaging to and from the phone?

Any help with these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely NO v810 for Verizon

To repeat...Verizon will NOT be releasing the v810. Here's the quote from my contact at Verizon (so I consider this to be a closed-case once and for all):

"No, we are not launching the Moto v810. If a store received call-out cards it was an error. We are definitely not launching this device."

v810 Antennas

I've noticed that the US Cellular version has the stubby antenna mainly tuned for the high frequency 1800-1900 Mhz band but the Verizon version had the pull up antenna (better to receive 800 MHZ) adds one more bar at 800Mhz

810 info

well i'm am hoping for this phone as much as the next guy.. my crappy 720 is on its last thread and got a free upgrade waiting but no phone worth it.. so hopefully the 810 will change that.. i will say i found this article mentioning the 810 delay and might shed a little light on the situation..

Verizon Wireless, a joint venture of Verizon Communications and Vodafone Group Plc , said Friday it had been expecting the V810, with built-in digital camera, from Motorola for the crucial fourth quarter. However, it will not be ready until the first quarter now.

V810 Price increase?

USC now lists the V810 on their web site as $129 . The 2year incentive has dropped from $120 to $90 So what gives? -was the price drop a mistake or did they get tired of hearing that it was chaper on the web then at their stores?

V810 price drop

The price of the V810 on the website was 159.95 with a 30 mail in rebate making it 129.95. So now that it is 129.95 with 30 mail in that makes it 99.95. So there has been a price drop, more specifically the drop occured in the amount allowed for a 2 yr contract. It was 90 now it is 120. There is a disclaimer on the website saying that prices are good only on the website meaning that the stores don't have to follow suit. I would suggest checking with the stores and seeing if they will honor the website costs, likely it will depend on the store and the person you talk with.

V810 is coming out for Verizon

I am a retail sales rep for VZW in the midwest area, we just recieved our daily general info e-mail. One thing it contained was a link for the callout card (the 5" x 5" card next to the display phone) for the V810. It said we should be recieving the cards by next teusday, 10-05. This e-mail did not say when the actual phone is coming out though. I imagine that it will be sometime soon.

what a waste of a phone!!!

What a waste of what seems like a decent, BASIC model Motorola phone (V810).... to make it ONLY available to the dozen or so US Cellular customers in the country. (Exaggerating the "dozen," of course, but why not a major carrier?! .... UGH!)

USC V810 price drop

I see on USC's web site that the price of a V810 with contract has dropped $30. Is this price good at the stores also or will there be a wait?
I'm glad I waited a week before putting my money down and reading the reviews show it is a good phone to get. Looks like I will be getting one Friday if the stores follow!!! 😁

USCC Motorola V710 Release

This morning I received confirmation from an inventory manager that USCC will release the V710 sometime during the month of November. The phone will tentatively sell for $210 on a new 2 year contract or $400 retail.

The phone WILL be fully bluetooth enabled.

V810 question

Can someone tell me what is ment by the PC sync capability of the V10? Can I sync my appointments with the calender? I know I have to use a USB cable and then what? What software do I need.
The V265 does not list that in it's specs so can it sync and use a USB cable or not??
Is there a link to an online manual for the V810?
