any way to answer a call in "hands-free" mode?

My wife uses the earpiece with the 6000, and would like to answer the phone without opening it. Are there voice commands to answer and end calls?

How to change the number of rings before going to voicemail?

I just got my LG VX600 through Verizon and I noticed that when I receive a call the phone rings 6 times before it sends the caller to voicemail. I would prefer if it rang only 4 times and then went to voicemail. I've looked through the settings and in the manual, but can't find a way to change this. Does anyone know if this setting can be changed? Thanks in advance.

picture caller id

Is there a way to program the VX6000 to show (on outside LCD) picture of person calling rather than the name?

If so, could someone tell me how to do it?

Thanks in advance.

Can I switch this phone from Verizon to USC?

Hey Everyone,

I bought this phone through Verizon, but am now with USC. Can i switch this phone over to them?

I know a lot of people talk about using the ESN #, but i haven't heard of USC allowing this.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

RE: LG6000 vs. 670.

Sorry to bother everyone, but I have two quick questions.

First- I know the samsung 670 is smaller, but which phone has the better camera and features?

Second-I understand VZW has a 15 day, will they allow you to switch phones, try the second one then switch back again?

Verizon Blue Faceplate for VX 6000

I just got my wife a LG VX4600. The case is silver and sort of an Electric blue. Does anyone know where I can get a faceplate for my VX6000 in this same blue. I am looking for a quality faceplate not junk.

size

i like this phone n all, it has nice features and a lot of people say its a great phone...but the only thing i dont like about the phone is its size...is it really big n bulky or does it just look like that in the picture? I might get the samsung a670 because of its size, but then again i dont like the color of it. Has anyone seen the a670 in person? if you have can u tell me the color of it?

LG VX6000 or Samsung A-670?

LG VX6000 or Samsung A-670?

I was waiting for the Motorola V710 but only have a few more days to cancel my AT&T contract and sell my Nokia 7610 cell phone so it looks like I'll be going with one of the phones.

Which phone is better? I would like speakerphone but the VX6000 looks like its a pain to switch between it and regular. So what besides that separates the two? Thanks

New price?

I am probably going to buy a VX6000 within a week, but was wondering if I can expect a price drop since the VX7000 is now available. If you have any info, let me know. Thanks.

Analog service & battery life?

I'm interested in purchasing the LG VX 6000 but was wondering if the phone offered analog service as well as digital? Also, I've heard mixed reviews regarding the battery life of this model, overall, does it have a decent (2+ days) battery life?

Airplane mode?

I've looked through the user manual and haven't found anything on an airplane mode, where the phone is on but not sending out radio signals. Anyone know of a way to set this up?
Thanks!
